S7 Edge Error Code 34 Network Not Responding

Problem: When I try to send a text out, I get error code 34 saying the network isn’t responding please try again later. I get texts incoming, but I can’t respond. I can make phone calls, but I can’t receive them! I spent the better part of two hours on the phone with sprints tech support and they’re just as confused as I am what the problem is. I have done a system reboot, cleared my system cache, can’t take the battery out unfortunately bc it doesn’t come out. I’m using a Samsung galaxy S7 edge. It’s firmware is up to date. The prl was refreshed and so was the sim card. I hare to do a hard reset if there’s something simple I’ve missed. Can you help me please? I’m on day 2 with this problem unresolved.

Solution: Usually when this error message appears on your phone you would just need to update the profile of the device. Since you have already done this then the next step is to check if this problem occurs on a particular area. Try going to a different location then check if the problem occurs. If it doesn’t then the issue might be caused by the towers in your area. However, if the issue persists then you should consider doing a factory reset. Make sure to backup your phone data before doing the reset.

S7 Edge Not Detected By Computer

Problem: hi please help my galaxy s7 edge is stuck on a bootloop with the message custom binary blocked by frp lock, this happened the other day when i plugged my phone into the pc to take my photos etc off as i wanted to put it back to factory but when i plugged it in via usb the device wasn’t recognised no windows ping and not in device manager i tried all different settings on the phone but no joy so i turned it off and it now wont boot up , i have tried lies, odin, and smart switch but none of them detect my phone i have also reinstalled drivers, tried different usb leads all genuine samsung data usbs and tried my laptop, the phone will go into download mode but isn’t detected by pc or any programmes please help as i’m worried that samsung won’t fix it as it’s been rooted thanks

Solution: What you will need to do in this case is to first clean the charging port of the phone using a can of compressed air. Make sure to remove any dirt or debris that’s stuck in this port. Next, try using a different USB cord when connecting the phone to your computer. You should also try plugging the phone to different USB ports of your computer. Another step that you can do is to try connecting your phone to a different computer.

In case the issue persists then it’s very likely that the data pin of the charging port of the phone is faulty in which case you will need to have this checked at a service center.

S7 Edge Screen Flickers Green

Problem: Hey there! So my Samsung 7 Edge just flickered green and suddenly appeared very bright (despite my own brightness settings on the lower end of the spectrum). All the colours seemed to have paled with black now appearing as green – it’s still working, just seems like on the edge of death. I’ve had the AMOLED screen burnout for a while now and was finally used to the strange pink flecks on the screen when this happened out of the blue . Tried every reboot possible, cleared my cache, and am pretty unsure of what to do next beside visiting the Samsung store itself. Help please!

Solution: The best thing that you can do right now is to backup your phone data then do a factory reset. Once the reset is complete check if the screen problem still occurs. If it does then it’s likely that the display is already damaged in which case you will need to have this replaced at a service center.

S7 Edge Screen Is White

Problem: The issue with my phone is three quarters of the screen is now white. This happened initially 3 weeks ago. I wiped the cache and rebooted the phone and it fixed the problem. It happened again, I tried to wipe the cache and also factory reset the device and it has not fixed the problem. when the phone is plugged in to charge and turned off, with the battery image and percent showing the screen issue is not there until I press the power button the screen plays up until I press the power button again and the screen goes back to normal showing the battery and percent. that makes me think that it is a software issue more than a hardware issue. problem is that both front and rear glass is relatively smashed so I imagine a repair guy won’t really do much with it until I have a new screen for it. unsure if this is the case though.

Solution: Since the issue still occurs even after a factory reset then this is most likely a hardware related problem already possibly caused by a faulty display. The best thing that you can do right now is to bring the phone to a service center and have it checked.

S7 Edge Keeps On Restarting

Problem: Hi! Recently I have noticed that my s7 edge keeps restarting, probably 3 – 4 times a day. I haven’t dropped it recently or broken it, and the handset is only 4 months old.  The restart usually happens after I’ve been trying to go from one app to another, the screen will freeze, and then it will restart. Apart from this the phone works absolutely fine with no other issues. The phone will restart itself and turn back on as normal until the next time. Please help!

Solution: Does your phone have a microSD card installed? If it does then try removing this card as it could be causing the problem.

Another factor that can cause this problem is an app you downloaded. To check if this is the case just start the phone in Safe Mode. If the issue does not occur in this mode then it could be caused by a downloaded app. Find out what app this is and uninstall it.

In case the issue persists then you should perform a factory reset. Make sure to backup your phone data before doing the reset.

If the above steps fails to fix the problem then you will need to bring the phone to a service center and have it checked as this could already be a hardware related problem.

S7 Edge Not Turning On After Charging

Problem: i went to sleep at night and plugged my phone into charge, when i woke up the phone was showing a flashing charge symbol that was gray. i tried turning it on but it only went to the samsung logo and back to this state. of you take the phone out of charge then nothing happens and none of the buttons respond and only when it is in charging it shows the empty gray charging logo that keeps flashing. also not sure of my android version.

Solution: What you will want to do first in this case is to clean the charging port of the phone using a can of compressed air. Make sure to remove any dirt or debris stuck in this port. Once this is done charge your phone for at least 20 minutes using a different charging cord and wall charger. Turn on your phone by pressing and holding both power and volume down buttons for at least 10 seconds.

If the issue persists then you will have to bring the phone to a service center and have it checked.

S7 Edge Grey Lines On Screen

Problem: Hi I bought my samsung galaxy s7 edge 10 month ego. Today while i was talking to my friend on whatsapp i saw some gray lines on the screen. I restart it but it’s the same. How can i resolve this problem or can i get a replacement of this phone? thanks in advance

Solution: Try starting the phone in Safe Mode then check if the grey lines still appear. If it doesn’t then the problem could be caused by an app you downloaded. Find out what app this is and uninstall it. In case the issue still occurs even in Safe Mode then proceed with a factory reset. Make sure to backup your phone data before doing the reset.

If the above steps fails to fix the problem then this might already be caused by a faulty display. If this is the case then you will need to bring the phone to a service center and have it checked.
