How to troubleshoot EMERGENCY CALLS ONLY bug on Galaxy S10 | fix No Service issue

EMERGENCY CALLS ONLY fix #1: Reboot the device

Refreshing your S10 is an important troubleshooting first step in this case.  EMERGENCY CALLS ONLY bug sometimes occur when a device temporarily loses connection from a cell tower, like when you’re travelling. Once you’re in a location with good service,  EMERGENCY CALLS ONLY disappears. In some cases though, this does not happen and the bug sticks. If you got your S9 as a pre-owned device, or if you suspect that it may be blocked, you can check its IMEI status. Alternatively, you can check if your S8’s IMEI has been blocked by doing these steps:

Some carriers may block users from accessing advanced menus thru the dialer app. If nothing happens after you enter (*#06#), that means your S8 can’t open advanced menus.

  6. The steps above will reset wifi, mobile data, and bluetooth settings. This means that you’ll have to enter wifi passwords, re-pair Bluetooth devices, or re-enter VPN credentials again.
