The following steps demonstrate the actual process of setting up face recognition and fingerprint authentication on the new Samsung Galaxy S20 smartphone.   1. To get started, swipe up from the bottom of the Home screen.

  3. Scroll down and tap Biometrics and security from the settings menu.

  6. To set up Fingerprints authentication, go back to the Biometrics and security menu and then tap Fingerprints.

  7. Tap the option to Add fingerprint.

  8. Read and review the note about screen covers and protectors then tap OK to continue.
