How to Clear App Cache and Data on Samsung Galaxy S10 Plus

Guide on how to clear app cache on Galaxy S10 Plus
- From the Home screen, slide down the notification panel.
- Tap the ‘gear icon’ to open Settings.
- On the settings menu, tap Apps.
- Here, you will see the list of apps installed on your device.
- Choose the app you want to clear cache.
- Tap Storage.
- Then, tap ‘clear cache’.
- Go back to Home screen.

Guide on how to clear app data on Galaxy S10 Plus
- From the Home screen, slide down the notification panel.
- Tap the ‘gear icon’ to open Settings.
- On the settings menu, tap Apps.
- Here, you will see the list of apps installed on your device.
- Choose the app you want to clear data.
- Tap Storage.
- Tap ‘clear data’.
- Tap ‘OK’ to confirm.
- Then, go back to home screen.
Remember, clearing app cache is only to remove temporary files and it will be replaced with a new one when you open the app again. For clearing the app data, for example the chrome, it will be reset to default and all the passwords, emails, history, etc. will be deleted and you have to enter those info again when you open the app.
