S7 Edge Photos Disappeared From microSD Card

Problem: I have had my s7 edge with the same memory card for over a year and had no issues. Last night all of my photos from card disappeared and then came back after about 20 mins. Now when I take new photos it says cannot save to card and I’m struggling to move some of them manually. I’ve tried a ‘battery pull but no luck is this a software issue maybe?

Solution: There are two possible factors that can cause this particular problem. First, it can be due to a software glitch. Seconds, it can be caused by a faulty microSD card.

Before troubleshooting this particular issue I recommend that you backup your phone data as well as the data stored in the microSD card.

To check if the problem is caused by a software glitch proceed with the troubleshooting steps listed below.

  • Start the phone in Safe Mode then check if the problem occurs in this mode. If it doesn’t then it could be caused by an app you downloaded. Find out what app this is and uninstall it.
  • Try wiping the cache partition of the phone from the recovery mode.
  • Perform a factory reset.

The best way to check if the microSD card is causing the problem is to replace the card with a new one.

S7 Edge Screen Not Working

Problem: My samsung s7 edge has had a pink line going through it for some time now and this morning the screen went out completely. It was working fine hours before that…help what could be the problem….thanks

Solution: The first thing that you will need to do in this particular case is to perform a simulated battery pull. This is done by pressing and holding both power and volume down buttons for at least 10 seconds. If your phone does not restart then you should proceed with the troubleshooting steps listed below.

  • Clean the charging port of the phone making sure that any dirt or debris stuck in the port is removed.
  • Charge the phone for at least 20 minutes before turning it on.
  • If the phone does not charge then try using a different charging cord and wall charger.
  • You should also check if the phone charges from a computer USB port.

In case the above steps fails to fix the problem then you will need to bring the phone to a service center and have it checked as this could already be a hardware related problem.

S7 Edge Black Screen With Blue LED Light After Phone Got Wet

Problem: I have an s7 edge i dropped it in a pool for like 2 seconds i took it out back black screen i quickly put to dry later on i try to turn it on the s7 edge screen came up but it took longer than usual then it went black again then i tried turning it on again the carrier screen came up again it went to the black screen . I put it to charge it took forever it still couldn’t turn on now the phone is on a black screen the led blue notification bar is showing i have used all the troubleshooting but it would not carry me to the screen so i am begging u to help me i don’t if it is water damage or what and for some reason i couldn’t get the nougat update i don’t if my phone is a french version or what

Solution: Because the phone came in contact with water the first thing that you will need to do is to wipe it with a cloth making sure that the exterior is dry. Although this is a waterproof phone there are instances when the seals that prevent water from damaging the phone gets broken causing water to enter the device. What you need to do next is to make sure that the internal part of the phone is free from moisture by placing the device in a bag of rice for at least 48 hours. Once this is done try checking if the issue still occurs. If it does then you will need to bring the phone to a service center and have it checked.

S7 Edge Keeps Rebooting Apps

Problem: S7 Edge issues -Keeps rebooting apps when trying to open them -Keyboard reboots when trying to type a message -S Health app keeps opening by itself, difficult to close it Problem seems intermittent, tried complete reset with no change and store says phone is not faulty according to their computer. Only had phone 2 weeks.

Solution: Do you have a microSD card installed in the phone? If you have one then try removing it as this might be causing the problem.

In case the issue persists then I suggest that you backup your phone data then do a factory reset.

S7 Edge Not Recognizing microSD Card

Problem: I have a Samsung Galaxy s7 edge. I recently bought a 32gb SanDisk micro sdhc card. I put it in the tray and it seems my phone isn’t recognizing it at all. I’ve tried rebooting the phone several times. I have made sure it is sitting in the tray right and am still unable to find it being there anywhere in my settings.

Solution: Try removing this card then let your computer read the card. You will need a card reader to do this. If your computer can’t read the card then the card might be damaged. You need to replace this with a new one. In case the computer can read the card then format the card using the FAT32 partition then insert it back to your phone. If the phone still can’t detect the card then try backing up your phone data then do a factory reset. Once the reset is complete check if the card can be detected. If it still can’t be detected then I recommend that you bring your phone to a service center and have it checked.
