J7 Does Not Respond
Problem: My phone is brand new! I’ve had to remove protection shield case that came with it and reset it. It still doesn’t respond when you tap app you want to use, it shuts down on itself. Does not respond to anything most of the time. I’m furious. This is the first phone in 30 yrs that i haven’t had to chase after you people to fix this thing. I will let HSN not to sell this! My pictures are all over the place. I was unable to to transfer my contacts, which is usually so easy!! The tabs in the phone freeze, its slow as anything. It returns back to blank page or does nothing…
Solution: What you will want to do right now is to check if an app you installed is causing the problem by starting the phone in Safe Mode. When the phone operates in this mode only the pre-installed apps are allowed to run while apps you downloaded are prevented from running. In case the issue does not occur in this mode then the problem could be caused by an app you downloaded. Find out what app this is and uninstall it.
In case the issue still occurs even in Safe Mode then you should consider doing a factory reset from the recovery mode. Take note that this will erase your phone data.
If the above steps fails to fix the problem then this could already be a hardware related issue possibly caused by a digitizer that is failing to work or some other internal component. The best thing that you can do right now is to bring the phone to a service center and have it checked.
J7 Not Turning On After Battery Drained
Problem: Please Help , my phone was 1% and i activated the save ultimate power , then it’s 0% and turned of and when i connect it with the charger it doesn’t turn on , it’s dead.
Solution: When a phone gets fully drained it will take some time for it to turn on again when you connect it to its charger. Make sure to leave the phone charging for at least 20 minutes then check if the phone will turn on. If it doesn’t then proceed with the troubleshooting steps listed below.
- Clean the charging port of the phone making sure that any dirt or debris stuck in the port is removed.
- Try charging the phone using a different charging cord and wall charger for at least 20 minutes.
- You should also try charging the phone from a computer USB port. If your phone charges then one of the pins of the charging port could be damaged. Have this checked at a service center.
In case the above steps fails to fix the problem then you will need to have the phone checked at a service center.
J7 Intermittently Charges
Problem: A few days ago my Samsung Galaxy J7, which I’ve never had any power issues with before, started having charging issues. Please keep in mind that all the following happens while my phone sits on a table without being touched after the initial plugging in and it’s doing this with every cord or outlet I try (my mate has the same model phone and it charges without issue on these same cords/outlets). I plug my J7 in but it isn’t charging, then a few minutes later it makes the sound that says it’s charging and there is a lightning bolt over the battery symbol, and a few minutes after that I look down at it and the charging symbol is gone and charging has stopped, a few minutes later I hear the charging sound go off repeatedly in rapid succession for a few seconds then it isn’t charging again, then later I hear the charging sound and the phone is charging for a while again. It just keeps doing this now.
Solution: The first thing that you should do in this case is to try using a different charging cord as the present cord that you are using might be damaged and is causing the problem. In case the issue still persists then proceed with cleaning the charging port of the phone using a can of compressed air. Make sure to remove any dirt or debris stuck in this port then check if the issue still occurs.
If the above steps fails to fix the problem then it’s likely that the charging port of the phone might be damaged. The best thing to do right now is to have this checked at a service center.
J7 Screen Flickers In Low Brightness
Problem: I have reboot my j7 in recovery mode. I already done factory reset.but, nothing change in the display. Still flickering at low brightness. Now what to do i did everything. Please! Help me to solve this problem.
Solution: If the flickering is not that strong then a temporary fix is to just leave the brightness setting of the screen to its maximum level then turn off the auto brightness setting. A more permanent fix to this problem is to have the display checked at a service center and this could already be a hardware related problem.
J7 Not Getting Mobile Signal
Problem: My samsung Galaxy j7 it is not picking up signal and I don’t know how to fix it I went to the Boost store and they told me my antenna is broken on my phone how do I fix it
Solution: If it has been determined that the antenna of the phone is broken then the best way to proceed is to bring the phone to a service center and have it repaired.
hi my touch screen is not responding, when i got it checked at the service shop the guy said it happened due to data overload and either i will have to somehow free its memory or i should format it.
but when i tried to transfer all the files to the computer since my phone has screen lock this idea failed.
is there any way to unlock my phone so that i could transfer all the datas of my phone????
