J7 Capacitive Buttons Are Unresponsive

Problem: My samsung J7’s keys are unresponsive (home key, back key, volume keys) when the phone is on. The screen works fine so I’m trying to navigate the phone with the assistant menu on screen. After the screen goes off (either due to time on or when I press the power button) I cannot turn the screen back on, but it seems that the phone carries on working i.e. I receive whatsapp messages, calls but I cannot answer them when the screen is dark.  Also, when the phone is charging without being turned on I can press the home button and it lights up the battery symbol so the home key seems to be working when the phone is not on. I’ve also left it off for a 12 hours without the battery and then the keys  work for about half hour but then they stop working again, I can still reboot the phone, turn in on in safe mode, restart it, none of this has worked so far though. Any help would be greatly appreciate it

Solution: The best thing that you can do right now is to backup your phone data then do a factory reset. Once the reset is complete do not install any apps in your phone yet. Try checking first if the issue still occurs. If it does then this is already a hardware related problem in which case you will need to bring the phone to a service center and have it checked.

J7 Black Screen After Drop

Problem: My mobiles half screen were flickering when we decrease the brightness of mobile screen. Please sir give me some suggestions on regarding them. My Samsung j7 was dropped and was working but know it suddenly went out not showing anything….black screen….I can hear the voices of messages or even calls but it’s not working

Related Problem: The j7 prime is black screen but it’s working i tried those volume down +power button at least 5 times but nothing happened, what do you think the problem of my phone?

Solution: The best thing that you can do right now is to check if the problem is caused by a software glitch by starting the phone in recovery mode. If the screen works in this mode then you will need to perform a factory reset. Take note that the reset will erase your phone data.

In case the screen still remains black even when you start the phone in recovery mode then it’s very likely that the display assembly of your phone is damaged. The best thing that you can do right now is to bring the phone to a service center and have it checked.

J7 No Network

Problem: I was using my phone normally but last 3 r days my phone is not showing any kind of networks jn phone i thought this might be some sim card issue then i replace my sim to my different phone and there airtel is giving full 4g network but as i change my sim to j7 is again showing this problem kindly help me with this problem… i live far away from home and am having many problems …thank you

Solution: Since the SIM card can get a signal when it is inserted in another phone then it’s safe to say that the problem is with the phone itself. To troubleshoot this problem try cleaning the SIM slot of the phone first using a can of compressed air. Once this is done insert the SIM back to the phone then check if it gets a signal. If the issue remains then backup your phone data then do a factory reset. In case the issue persists even after the reset then the phone antenna might be damaged. You will need to have this checked at a service center.

J7 Not Registered On Network

Problem: when i want to make regular phone call with both of my sim cards  i receive this message: not registered on network. besides i can see emergency calls only at the top of screen of mobile for both sim cards. in the past when i had such problem, i restarted my phone and the problem have been solved. now i did this many times but it does not help me. i even reset my phone but the problem has not gone. both of my sim cards work in another phone well but not in my phone. please help me. It should be note that i bought my phone from Iran but now i live in Belgium.

Solution: The first thing that you will need to do in this case is to make sure that your phone software is updated. Once the phone software is update perform the following troubleshooting steps listed below.

  • Wipe the cache partition of the phone from the recovery mode.
  • Backup your phone data then do a factory reset.

In case the issue still occurs even after performing the steps listed above then you should have the phone checked at a service center.

J7 Restarts On Its Own

Problem: While I’m using my phone J7 prime there is a sudden shutdown. Eventually it will restart sometimes not. How can i fix this? I bought this last month. Hope i’ll receive the most fastest way to fix this Sir. Because i’m having trouble communicating with my Boss because of my phone’s sudden Shutdown. Thank you for responding.

Solution: Does your phone have a microSD card installed? If it does then try to remove this as this could be causing the problem. In case your phone does not have a microSD card or if the issue still persists even if the microSD card is removed then perform the troubleshooting steps listed below.

  • Start the phone in Safe Mode then check if the issue occurs in this mode. If it doesn’t then it could be caused by an app you downloaded. Find out what app this is and uninstall it.
  • Wipe the cache partition of your phone from the recovery mode.
  • Backup your phone data then do a factory reset.

In case the above steps fails to fix the problem then you will need to bring the phone to a service center and have it checked.

<h3 id=”A6″>J7 Screen Is Flickering/h3>

Problem: Well, I’ve noticed that everytime my phone goes to low brightness, the screen will flicker.. I reset my phone and it stopped for a little bit, but now it’s back..

4.tap the build number for 7 times

5.developer options was created

6.i have tapped the option disable the hardware overlays

still the flickering problem in my phone is not solved so guide me to solve this flickering problem in my mobile

Solution: Sometimes increasing the screen brightness will help fix this problem. This is just  temporary solution though. To get to the bottom of this issue you will need to perform the troubleshooting steps listed below.

  • Start the phone in Safe Mode then check if the issue occurs in this mode. If it doesn’t then the problem could be caused by an app you downloaded. Find out what app this is and uninstall it.
  • Backup your phone data then do a factory reset.

If the above steps fails to fix the problem then this might already be caused by a hardware component that is failing to work properly. The best thing that you can do right now is to bring the phone to a service center and have it checked.
