How to delete app updates on Galaxy Tab A 8.0 (2019) | uninstall updates of an app

To delete app updates on a Galaxy Tab A is simple. The steps are basically similar to ones for clearing an app cache or data. If you need to bring a particular app to its factory state, this is one way to do it. Follow the steps below.

  1. From a Home screen, swipe up or down from the center of the display to access the Apps screen.
  2. Open Settings app.
  3. Tap Apps.
  4. Ensure All is selected (upper-left). If necessary, tap the Dropdown icon (upper-left) then select All.
  5. Locate then select the appropriate app. If system apps aren’t visible, tap the Menu icon (upper-right) then select Show system apps. You need to do this step if you’re trying to trouble a system app like Google Services Framework. Otherwise, simply skip Show system apps.
  6. In the App info menu, tap More settings icon (three dots at the upper right).
  7. Tap Uninstall updates.
  8. Tap OK to confirm.
  9. That’s it!
