The following steps will help you clear out old and unnecessary downloads from your YouTube account. Doing so will help you free up space to allocate new YouTube downloads to watch when your phone is offline.
Open YouTube app.
The YouTube app icon is usually grouped among other Google apps and services in the G-suite or Google folder.To access the G-suite, swipe up from the bottom of the Home screen. Doing so will open the Apps viewer. From the Apps viewer, look for the icon named Google, tap to expand its content and finally tap on the YouTube icon.If YouTube isn’t in G-suite, it should be lined up among other icons from the Apps screen/viewer.
Scroll down to the bottom of the YouTube app screen then tap Library.
The Library icon is located on the bottom-rightmost corner of the display.
On the next screen, tap Downloads.
Doing so will launch a new screen that contains downloaded videos as well as recommended downloads.
Tap the Menu icon on the upper-rightmost corner of the Downloads screen.
Just look for the triple-dot figure right next to the Search (magnifying glass) icon.A pop-up menu will be displayed.
Select Settings from the pop-up menu options.
On the next screen that opens, you will see different settings and options for your YouTube downloads.
Scroll down and tap the option to Delete all downloads.
A confirmation message will then pop-up.
Tap Delete to confirm that you’d like to delete all downloaded videos and playlists on your YouTube account.
All saved videos and playlists will then be removed.

- Open the app then tap on your profile picture on the top-rightmost corner of the screen.
- Scroll down and tap Settings from the given options.
- From the Settings menu, tap Downloads.
This will lead you to the same Downloads screen where you can find the option to Delete all downloads.
