Sprint Will Fix Broken Samsung Galaxy Screens for $50

In what is considered to be a great move both environmentally as well as economically, Sprint has announced that it will fix broken or shattered displays of select Samsung Galaxy smartphones for just $50. The best part here is that even non-Sprint customers can walk into a store and get their display fixed for $50. This deal will be valid till Feb 9, 2020, or until stocks last.

As for the Samsung Galaxy phones covered under this deal, well, the selection is not vast. For starters, it leaves out the newer Samsung flagships like the Galaxy S10, Galaxy Note 10 or even the Galaxy Note 9. Also absent from the list is the Galaxy S7 edge, touted as a smartphone with a pretty advanced display technology at the time. Here’s the full list of Samsung Galaxy phones covered by Sprint’s $50 screen repair deal:

As you can see, plenty of popular Samsung phones are missing from the list. However, this is likely due to the high repair costs for Samsung’s newer flagships. But if you have an old or discarded Samsung Galaxy smartphone from the list above, this deal is highly recommended. As Samsung’s technology evolves, repair costs are expected to go higher. Screen repair costs for the Galaxy S10+ came under $200 last year.

With the Galaxy S20 launching on February 11, we hope to hear more about free or affordable screen replacements. Perhaps something similar to AppleCare+. If you own any of the aforementioned devices, all you need to do is head over to your nearest Sprint store and get your screen fixed for $50.
