S9 Apps Stop Working

Problem: There are some application that is not working on my phone that whenever I want to open it it keep saying it stop application like Google, Facebook messenger and Google play store pls help me because have do several settings but is not working and I have restart my phone several time is not working pls help ASAP

Solution: If a restart temporarily fixes the problem then it’s very likely that this is caused by a software glitch. Listed below are the recommended troubleshooting steps for this particular problem. After performing a step make sure to immediately check if the issue still occurs and if it does then proceed to the next step.

  • Remove the microSD card of the phone. In most cases where the microSD card has corrupt sectors it will usually cause the phone to freeze or stop apps from working. Removing the card is a good way to check if it is causing the problem.
  • Start the phone in Safe Mode. When the phone is started in this mode only the pre-installed apps are allowed to run. If the problem does not occur in this mode then it could be caused by an app you downloaded. Find out what app this is and uninstall it.
  • Wipe the cache partition of the phone from the recovery mode.
  • Backup your phone data then do a factory reset.

S9 Not Uploading Photos Videos to Instagram

Problem: I have been unable to post videos or pictures to instagram for 4 days now. I already tried all the advice given via your blog. I am however unable to perform a soft reset as I own a S9. The video does not respond at all and the picture which states ‘will auto upload when possible,’ provides me with three options: Retry upload, discard & one other I don’t immediately recall. I can provide screenshots if needed.

Solution: The first thing that you need to do in this case is to make sure that the phone does not have a security app installed that is restricting Instagram from accessing the internet. Once you have made sure that Instagram is not restricted from accessing the internet then the next step is to check if this is caused by a poor network connection. Try connecting the phone to a different Wi-Fi network or try using your LTE mobile data subscription to upload videos and photos.

In case the issue still persists then I suggest you uninstall the Instagram app then install a fresh version from the Google Play Store.

S9 WhatsApp Chats Last Seen Not Working

Problem: Don’t know if you can help but am going to try….have being using whatsapp for ages but over the last month I can no longer see when my chats were last seen/online/typing etc. My phone is a S9. I checked the FAQ and followed their privacy settings (all set to everyone) but this hasn’t made any difference. It is for ALL chats so it isn’t that I have been blocked by one contact etc… If I turn the phone off and on again it works until I close whatsapp and then everything disappears again. I have sent messages to their help desk but they reply saying my phone is rooted so they can’t help me. (I bought my phone new and it is definitely not rooted! Wouldn’t know how to do it) I have cleared the cache and reinstalled the app including backed up chats and am now stuck. Getting very annoyed so any help gratefully received.

Solution: There are several factors that can affect the way you are able to see a contact’s last seen which we have listed below.

  • They might have set their privacy settings to hide this information.
  • You might have set your privacy settings to not share your Last Seen. If you don’t share your Last Seen, you can’t see other contacts’ Last Seen.
  • You might have been blocked.

In case the above conditions have been satisfied and the issue still remains then you should try uninstalling the app then install a fresh version from the Google Play Store.

You should also check if connecting your phone to a different Wi-Fi network will fix the problem.

S9 Screen Becomes Pixelated When Running Games/h3>

Problem: I am using a galaxy S9. All my apps are working perfectly fine but as soon as I open any game the screen becomes extremely pixelated to such an extent that you can’t understand whats being shown, this has never happened before in any of my phones. I’ve searched the internet and asked many people but nobody can figure it out, I hope you can help me.

Solution: To fix this problem you will need to make sure that the phone is running on the latest software version. You should also uninstall the affected games from your phone then install a fresh version from the Google Play Store. If you have a microSD card installed in the phone you should remove it before running the game again.

In case the issue still persists then I suggest that you backup your phone data then do a factory reset.
