- To get started, access the Apps screen then open Facebook app.
You can access the Apps screen by swiping up from the bottom of the Home screen.
- From the Facebook app main screen, tap the Menu icon.

- Scroll down to then tap Settings & Privacy.

The entire process may take several minutes depending on the amount of information to be copied and downloaded.
The status reads Pending as the requested information is still being processed. Just wait until the copy is completed and ready.
- Once the backup file of your Facebook information and messages is created, you will see a Download button next to file under Available Copies.
Tap the Download button to continue downloading the requested Facebook file.
You will also receive a notification on your Facebook account, saying that your requested information is ready for download.
