How to change your Steam password fast

Resetting your Steam password is simple but it can take a number of steps. The steps below assumes that you can still access your email in order to get the verification code.<br>If you no longer have access to the registered email on your Steam account, there’s a different set of steps to recover your account.
Open Steam application.
You can click Start or double-click the icon from your desktop. Click on I CAN’T SIGN IN button.
You don’t need to enter your account name in the login window.Select I Forgot my Steam Account name or password.
This will bring you to the next window.Enter your email address or phone number.
This should be the email address or phone number associated with your account when you created it.
Click SEARCH button.
This will begin an account search.
Click on EMAIL AN ACCOUNT VERIFICATION CODE TO option.
The code will be sent to your email account.Get the code from your email, enter it in Steam, then Click CONTINUE.
You should type it in the field.Click on the SELECT button for the account that you want to update.
You might have to click a few buttons.Click on CHANGE MY PASSWORD.
This should begin the process.Enter and re-enter your new password, then click on CHANGE PASSWORD button.
Your password must already be changed at this point.

What to do if you want to change Steam password but you have no email access anymore?
If you want to change your Steam password but the email associated with your account is no longer active or accessible, you’ll have to contact Valve directly in order to prove that you are the real owner. Here’s how it’s done:
- Open Steam application.
- Click on I CAN’T SIGN IN button.
- Select I Forgot my Steam Account name or password.
- Enter your email address or phone number. This should be the email address or phone number associated with your account when you created it.
- Click SEARCH button.
- Select I NO LONGER HAVE ACCESS TO THIS EMAIL ADDRESS.
- Fill in the blank fields, click on the I’M NOT A ROBOT box (CAPTCHA), then hit the SEND button at the bottom.
