However, some people are reporting some annoying issues and today, we’ll help you if your NBA 2K22 online services are not working, or if you’re unable to play any online mode.
Most people will get this error message:
“There is a problem with your connection to our online services. Please visit http://www.NBA2K.com/status for up to date information. Error code 63ee13bb.”
If you’re experiencing the same or similar issues whenever you play NBA 2K22 on your PC or console, this guide is for you.
How to fix NBA 2K22 Online Services not working?
Your NBA 2K22 game may stop working for a myriad of reasons. If the game won’t connect to the online services and you keep getting a particular error code like 63ee13bb or similar, these are the things that you should do:
Fix #1: Check for any on-going server issues.
If the NBA 2K22 online services are not working, it is almost always caused by a problem with the servers. Games with online components may sometimes suffer from a server outage due to bugs and glitches.
At other times, the developer may choose to temporarily shut down the servers to fix bugs or to perform maintenance. In either case, your game will most likely be affected, especially if you’re mainly playing an online mode.
The good thing is, server issues are usually rare and if they do occur, they’ll likely be short-lived. All you have to do is to wait until the outage or maintenance is finished before trying again.
To check if there’s an issue with the NBA 2K22 servers at this time, be sure to visit the official NBA 2K website:

Fix #2: Reboot your PC or console.
Some bugs develop if the game, PC, or console is left running for a long time. Make sure that you restart the game. If you’re on PC, try closing NBA 2K22 using the Task Manager (CTRL+SHIFT+ESC).
If you’re playing on a console, you can try force close the game or remove the game disc (if you have the physical copy).
Alternatively, you can just turn off your PC or console after closing the game to ensure that the system is refreshed.
Fix #3: Keep the game updated.
If there are no server issues and the NBA 2K22 game continues crash, you need to make sure you check for any new updates that you might have missed. By default, this is very easy as the game client should automatically prompt you to update.
However, you can manually check for updates as well right before loading the game, especially if you only play an online game sparingly.
Fix #4: Troubleshoot your internet connection.
For some people, the main reason why their NBA 2K22 online services are not working is not necessarily server-related but something within their home network. Some folks may experience issues with their internet connection at home, or an issue with their Internet Service Provider.
While some of these issues can be out of your control, there are a handful of things that you can do such as:
- power cycle your network devices
- run a speed test
- change the DNS server settings on your device, or
- use a VPN.
Power cycle your modem or router.
Network devices such as modems or routers may stop working properly if they’ve been left running for a stretch of time. Make sure that you refresh your modem/router by turning it off and unplugging it from the power outlet for 1 minute.
This should allow the device to clear its temporary memory and cache and hopefully eliminate any network bug that’s causing an issue with your home network.
Perform a speed test.
If your internet connection is slow, the NBA 2K22 game client will be unable to maintain a good connection to the servers. Make sure that you have a minimum of 5Mbps for download and upload speeds all the time. If your internet connection goes slower than that, any online game you may be playing may disconnect or perform poorly.
If necessary, disconnect other devices from your network while you’re playing to ensure that your PC or console have good enough speed to play.

Use another DNS server.
Sometimes, the default DNS servers of your Internet Service Provider (ISP) may go down or become bogged down. Such a situation can lead to browsing issues and poor internet performance for your devices.
If you think that the DNS servers of your PC or console may have become slow, you can try to use other DNS servers like the free ones by Google or any other companies.
Try using a VPN.
This solution is not always ideal for everyone but if you are located in a region where NBA 2K online services are really bad, you may be able to fix it by using a Virtual Private Network or VPN.
