    Hi,

We have contacted JBL CUSTOMER CARE… and we were advised to do the procedural factory reset 13April2024, Saturday.

    Unfortunately,our problem remains unresolved

We have exhausted all attempts to troubleshoot as to why the different versions of the JBL PARTY BOX 710  which use to work 3 days ago has suddenly seized to function; despite various repeated software reinstalls, Jbl partbox 710 hardware resets  on several tablets & phone devices.

However the speakers do work via Bluetooth on all generic software players w/their equalizers… although there would be a couple of times the audio stalls on both speakers sends off a mild buzz & click sound and followed by software player pause glitches…. and if ignored audio is subdued, muffled, & muddy…?

In all  hardware devices, their Bluetooth can detect the JBL Party Box 710… They can quickly connect as individual pairings. And such devices can play stored mp3…mp4 music wirelessly on Bluetooth and TWS mode.

However, using the formerly working JBL APP PARTY BOX SOFTWARE VERSIONS V3.4.24,V3.5.24. Yes,all  had worked for 3-days using it’s limited 3-band equalizer, party & stereo modes, lights control via loop & random. Upon previous working software installations… each JBL Party Box 710 Speakers were successfully found via autosearch & select.

As mentioned, we did encounter some repeated audio muffling/muddy sounds then a mild click on a number of occasions wherein the music will automatically pause and have to be restarted. We were initially fine with the small glitch not until it the JBL PARTY BOX 710 APP  completely failed to recognize and find the nearby speakers on it’s software radar? Even if  the party box model was manually selected? The JBL APP MODEL IDENTIFIER   just suddenly failed  & seized to recognize it’s model Identity.  Software says..” CAN’T FIND SPEAKERS?”

    Findings summary:

The party box 710 does work on manually loaded thumb drives without flaws. They do work on manual TWS and yes, both music selection & volume work wirelessly via TWS MODE & also easily connects via non-proprietor generic software equalizer-players running across BLUETOOTH DEVICES but accompanied by occasional mild buzz click audio muffling/muddy interrupts needing soft restarts.

In short, we no longer have  wireless JBL PARTY LIGHTS control??

Nor do we have JBL LIMITED 3-BAND EQUALIZER/VOLUME & BASS controllers??

JBL PARTY BOX 710 APP suddenly seized to work for us??

Hence, for such a hefty purchase price for supposed quality high-end party speakers… the internal software is flawed/bugged???Why???
