In this short tutorial, we’ll show you the steps on how to set up Fingerprint Recognition on your Galaxy Note10+. The steps are easy to follow and can be done in a few minutes. How to use Fingerprint Recognition on your Galaxy Note10+ | easy steps to add fingerprint

Setting up Fingerprint Recognition on the Galaxy Note10+ is as easy as following instructions. This is a necessary procedure before you can start using your fingerprint to unlock your device’s screen. Prior to begin the setup, make sure that 

  • your hands, especially the fingers you want to to add, are clean of dust, moisture, dirt, oil, lotion, dyes, etc. 
  • you have your screen unlock option (PIN, Pattern, or Pattern) ready.

These are the steps to set up Fingerprint Recognition on the Galaxy Note10+:

  1. From a Home screen, swipe up or down from the center of the display to access the apps screen.
  2. Open Settings app.
  3. Tap Biometrics and security.
  4. From the Biometrics and security section, tap Fingerprints. If prompted, enter the current PIN, password, or pattern.
  5. If presented, tap Continue and select a lock screen option (e.g., Pattern, PIN or Password) then follow the steps to complete the process.
  6. If prompted, tap continue to register your fingerprint by swiping your fingertip down over the sensor to scan. Repeat this step as necessary until the process is complete.
  7. Tap Done (lower-right).
  8. Tap the Fingerprint unlock switch to turn on.
  9. That’s it! You have now set your Galaxy S10 to unlock the screen using your fingerprint.

NOTE: You can add up to 4 fingerprints on your device.
