How to use Fingerprint Recognition on your Galaxy Note10+ | easy steps to add fingerprint
Setting up Fingerprint Recognition on the Galaxy Note10+ is as easy as following instructions. This is a necessary procedure before you can start using your fingerprint to unlock your device’s screen. Prior to begin the setup, make sure that
- your hands, especially the fingers you want to to add, are clean of dust, moisture, dirt, oil, lotion, dyes, etc.
- you have your screen unlock option (PIN, Pattern, or Pattern) ready.
These are the steps to set up Fingerprint Recognition on the Galaxy Note10+:
- From a Home screen, swipe up or down from the center of the display to access the apps screen.
- Open Settings app.
- Tap Biometrics and security.
- From the Biometrics and security section, tap Fingerprints. If prompted, enter the current PIN, password, or pattern.
- If presented, tap Continue and select a lock screen option (e.g., Pattern, PIN or Password) then follow the steps to complete the process.
- If prompted, tap continue to register your fingerprint by swiping your fingertip down over the sensor to scan. Repeat this step as necessary until the process is complete.
- Tap Done (lower-right).
- Tap the Fingerprint unlock switch to turn on.
- That’s it! You have now set your Galaxy S10 to unlock the screen using your fingerprint.
NOTE: You can add up to 4 fingerprints on your device.
