How to insert a SIM card to a Google Pixel 3

  1. Turn off your Google Pixel 3.
  2. Prepare the SIM card ejector tool or SIM card removal tool
  3. Insert the SIM removal tool into the hole in the SIM tray. This tray is found on the left hand side of your phone.
  4. Make sure to push the SIM card ejector tool firmly until the SIM card tray is ejected.
  5. Put the SIM card into the tray. The metallic contacts should face the back side of the phone.
  6. Gently insert the SIM card tray into the phone.
  7. Turn the phone back on and see if it now detects your network.

How to remove a SIM card from a Google Pixel 3

Removing a SIM card from your Google Pixel 3 device is as simple as inserting it. Removing a SIM card while the phone is on can damage it or the phone so don’t forget to power down your Pixel 3 first before doing it.

  1. Turn off your Google Pixel 3.
  2. Prepare the SIM card ejector tool or SIM card removal tool
  3. Insert the SIM removal tool into the hole in the SIM tray. This tray is found on the left hand side of your phone.

  5. Remove the SIM card from the tray.
