Here’s what you need to do if your Galaxy Note 9 is getting the Play Store error 110…

  1. Restart the phone first.
  2. Make sure SD card is properly mounted on your phone.
  3. Remove Google Account and add it again.
  4. Factory reset your phone.

If it’s the first time you get this error and that your phone has been working properly prior to this problem, then it’s possible that it’s just a temporary issue with the firmware. Restart your Galaxy Note 9 first to refresh it’s memory. Or better yet, do the forced reboot which is far more effective than the normal reboot. To do so, press and hold the power key and the volume down together for 10 seconds or more. Your phone will reboot like it normally does but its memory is refreshed and all apps and services reloaded. After this, try installing the same app.

There are been cases wherein the cause of the error 110 is due to an SD card error. So, the next thing you have to do is make sure that the SD card on your phone is properly mounted and detected and then try installing the app. If it’s still the same, install the app on the internal storage and just move it after the installation is complete. Some owners did this successfully with their phones.

Since we’re dealing with a Play Store issue, your Google account also plays a hand in this problem. So, remove it from your device and add it again after a reboot. After which, try to sync your phone with your account and once that’s done, try installing the same app to know if the problem is fixed or not. If you’re still prompted with the Play Store error 110 after this, then move on the next solution.

Backup all your files and data, remove your Google account from your phone and do the master reset to bring it back to its factory settings and configuration. A reset will fix this kind of problem as it’s not an issue with the hardware but you will have to go through the hassles of backing up every bit of data you don’t want to lose and it takes time. But it seems that you’re already running of other options here so you really have to do it so your Galaxy Note 9 can work perfectly again.
