How to delete a text message on Galaxy Note10+

Some Android problems may call for deleting a text message. Some of these problems include the likes of being unable to send or receive SMS or MMS and messaging app keeps crashing. If you are new to Android or to Samsung Galaxy Note10 or Note10+, learn how to delete a text message below.

This tutorial assumes that you’re using the default Samsung Messages app. If you’re using a different messaging app, the steps may be different from the ones below.

How to delete a text message on Galaxy Note10+

Deleting a text message on Galaxy Note10+ is easy and simple. Follow the steps below on what to do:

  1. From a Home screen, swipe up or down from the center of the display to access the apps screen.
  2. Open Samsung Messages app.
  3. If you’re using a different messaging app before, tap Yes to confirm if prompted to use Samsung Messages.
  4. Tap Delete.
  5. Select either All or the specific part of the message you want to delete.
  6. Tap Delete at the bottom.
  7. Tap Delete to confirm.

If you want to delete All your text messages in your Samsung Messages inbox, follow these steps:

  1. From a Home screen, swipe up or down from the center of the display to access the apps screen.
  2. Open Samsung Messages app.
  3. If you’re using a different messaging app before, tap Yes to confirm if prompted to use Samsung Messages.
  4. Tap Menu icon located at the upper-right corner.
  5. Tap Delete.
  6. Tap All.
  7. Tap the Trashcan icon located at the bottom.
  8. To confirm, tap Delete. If you want, you can also check Block numbers to prevent a selected number to send texts in the future.
