Xbox Live server issue.
Xbox Live servers may go down from time to time. Normally, you would get an error message on your screen telling you that Xbox Live is not reachable at the moment. If you’re getting such a message, all you have to do is to wait until the issue goes away.
Home network problem.
The signals from your Xbox One console runs through a chain of devices in the entire network until it reaches to Xbox Live servers. Some of these devices include your home network equipment like modem, hub, and/or router. Random console bugs.

Power cycle the console.
