J7 Random Stuck In Optimizing Apps

Problem: My phone was malfunctioning. Random ads keep popping up on the screen and random apps keep installing i couldn’t use my phone in peace so i thought it was a virus and a wireless update will fix it. I’ve connected to a wifi network and updated my phone and it rebooted , loaded up and got stuck on “android is upgrading optimizing 1 of 160 apps screen. Ive watch it for like 5 minutes and i didnt count down so i panic and turn my phone into recovery mode an clear my cache and factory reset my phone. It loaded up back and it was still stuck on the screen but this time it said 1 of 153 apps. Now it’s been over 8 hours since my phone been that way and its not counting i was wondering if the app can only be optimize with internet connection. Cause i factory reset my phone so i assume the wifi will be disconnected sigh. Plz help me. Ps. While writing this the phone just died on the optimizing screen.

Solution: The first thing that you should do right now is to make sure that the battery of your phone has sufficient charge. Connect your phone to its wall charger then let it charge first for at least 20 minutes. With the phone still connected to the charger I recommend that you start the phone in recovery mode then perform the steps listed below.

  • Wipe the cache partition of the phone.
  • Perform a factory reset ( take note that this will delete your phone data).

Once the reset is complete turn on the phone then check if the issue still occurs.

J7 Unfortunately System UI Has Stopped

Problem: I have Samsung Galaxy J7 and today my phone crashed 3 times and could do nothing except power it off! The last one continued with “Unfortunately system UI stopped” pop up. It is still working but I afraid this problem becomes something serious! I really appreciate it if you could advise me how to avoid it. Thanks a lot.

Solution: The best way to fix this problem is to clear the cache and data of the system interface app from the application manager ( Settings – Application – Show System Applications). You also need to make sure that your phone is running on the latest software version and that all of your apps are updated.

In case the issue still persists then I recommend that you backup your phone data then do a factory reset.

J7 Google Play Store Does Not Load

Problem: Samsung Galaxy J7. Updated the phone software because thought it might fix failure to remember Wifi credentials. It did, but broke other things. When I open Google Play, it launches ok and I can browse apps, but when I go to “my apps and games” the clock turns and turns and it doesn’t load. I try turning on and off wifi, flight mode, restarting, force quit, delete cache and delete data. Nothing changed. Last things left are I guess Uninstall Updates (Google Play App), same for Play Services, then factory reset. Any other suggestions? Can I go back to previous software version?  Think I prefer entering wifi pw every time I connect, than this. Shame on google for releasing half-baked update

Solution: If this problem only occurs on the Google Play Store app then you could try clearing the cache and data of this app from the application manager. If this doesn’t work then try uninstalling the updates of this app. Should the issue persist then I recommend that you backup your phone data then do a factory reset as this could be caused by old software data that has not been completely removed. I would not recommend rolling back the software to a previous version.

J7 Keeps On Scanning For Wi-Fi Network

Problem: Hey, I have purchased Samsung J7 . As i don’t update software for a long time, due to use of some applications my phone lost its network. I confirmed it from my network provider, and that’s not my SIM issue (using same SIM in other phone) or providers issue. Everything is all about my phone , it showing a cross line in a circle on right top of my phone. Even after that i used my phone near about a year, like a without-SIM TAB by inserting disconnected SIM and connecting wifi network; it allowed me all applications except calls and text messages. But now 3 days back i have lost my wifi connectivity, when i turn my wifi on it showing; scanning just for 3-4 secs and it turning off without showing any network. Please suggest me a complete solution with a network or at least suggest me something for my wifi connectivity. I tried all your suggested tricks for my wifi except factory reset but it wont work.

Solution: The best thing that you can do right now is to backup your phone data then do a factory reset. Once the reset is complete do not install any apps in your phone yet. Try checking first if the issue still occurs and if it does then this is most likely a hardware related problem already in which case you will need to bring the phone to a service center and have it checked.
