S6 Stuck In Samsung Logo With Blue LED Light On
Problem: my s6 has been working fine however today when I was using Spotify and attempted to use Snapchat it turned off suddenly and will not turn back on. It only seems to have power when it is plugged into a charger but it still does not turn on and is looping on the Samsung start up page. I tried to boot it in safe mode and had a no command error message. I then cleared the cache- no luck. I then did a factory reset and this managed to bring the phone to the Samsung screen with a blue light – it got stuck like this and then went to the original state. I am currently travelling so cannot take this into a store, I just want to know whether this is a hardware issue or system issue. Thanks!
Solution: Since you have already performed a factory reset and the issue still persists then this could already be a hardware related problem. You should however try performing a simulated battery pull and check if this helps fix the problem. This is done by pressing and holding both the power and volume down buttons for at least 10 seconds. Your phone should restart after this. In case the issue persists then you will need to bring the phone to a service center and have it checked.
S6 Not Turning On After Getting Wet
Problem: I dropped my s6 in tub for a split second then dried it off it worked fine later in the day i decided to place it in rice for 24 hours just in case it was fine all next day although once it did say overheating . when it was low on battery that nite i plugged in to charge and later when i went to get it the phone was shut off and wont turn back on when plugged in it shows the battery charge symbol but wont charge i checked the sim card for any signs of moisture but found none. Any helpful hints appreciated
Solution: Since the phone got wet then you did a good job by placing it in a bag of rice. The rice will absorb any moisture found present inside the phone. The thing about water damage though is that you don’t know when it will affect the device. Sometimes it happens instantly while other times it happens hours or days after the phone got wet. The additional troubleshooting steps that you should do in this particular case are listed below.
- Clean the charging port of the phone using a can of compressed air making sure that any dirt or debris stuck in the port is removed.
- Try charging the phone using a different charging cord and wall charger.
- Try charging the phone from a computer USB port.
In case the above steps fails to fix the problem then you should bring the phone to a service center and have it checked.
S6 Not Sending Text Message To Premium Number
Problem: I have a samsung S6. I don’t have any issues with texting, however, when i text to a restaurant, example tudors, i get a message failure. Example, sent text to 80077 with the word Give as the text message, and it failed. Today i received a text from my dr and i was to respond with a text of Yes if i was keeping my appointment but the message failed. I never have issues with normal text messages.
Solution: This is most likely a setting related issue which you can fix by performing the troubleshooting steps listed below.
- Tap Settings
- Tap Applications
- Tap Application Manager
- Tap More
- Choose Show System Apps
- Tap Message Service
- Press on (Send Premium SMS)
- Select your choice from the three options ( you can choose either Ask or Always Allow)
S6 Randomly Restarts Freezes
Problem: Hello Team, Recently I have bought the unlocked Samsung S6 G920A in new york and I currently I am using it in India. I have found that my phone was freezing suddenly and sometimes turning off automatically without any action even I am mid of any message or call also. initially it was happened daily one or two times and day by day it got increased. i tried wiping partial data, master reset also but the issues did not sorted out. I went to authorized Samsung show room they simply rejected my issue because it is brought it in abroad not in india, they said their tools will not support to update the software. I went local to technician and he did the software update (software flash), still issue is not completed sorted out, daily one or two times auto restating and that increases day by day and now again same issue…multiple times shut down/auto turning off/switched off. Can you please help me on this, appreciate your help.
Solution: Since you have already performed a factory reset and even flashed the phone software which doesn’t fix the problem then it’s very likely that this is already a hardware related issue. The possible suspects are a faulty battery or even a faulty power IC. The best thing that you can do right now is to bring the phone to a service center and have the hardware of the phone checked.
S6 Not Turning On Not Charging After Phone Dropped
Problem: Samsung S6. Phone dropped. If i charge, it seems not charging because the charging light is not on. Also it does not turn on. Earlier the blue light was on and blinking slowly, now that too is off.

- Clean the charging port of the phone using a can of compressed air. Make sure that any dirt or debris stuck in this port is removed.
- Charge the phone for at least 20 minutes using a different charging cord and wall charger.
- If the phone does not charge then try charging it from a computer USB port.
- When turning on the phone you need to simulate a battery pull. This is done by pressing and holding both power and volume down buttons for at least 10 seconds.
