One of the advantages of having a phone with a large internal storage capacity is that you can install several apps on it without worrying about lack of space. The #Samsung #Galaxy #Note4 is one such device that comes with a large internal storage space of 32GB. You can even expand this storage further by adding a microSD card to the phone. You will then be able to free up some internal storage space by moving certain apps ( if allowed) to the microSD card. There are however instances when app related issues can occur on this phone. This is what we will be discussing today as we tackle the Galaxy Note 4 unable to install app issue & other related problems.

Note 4 Unable To Install App
Problem: I tried to install zombie game of 50 MB and got error that unable to install in device or sd card(have lots of space in both) while installing other little apps of 20 MB can easily installed please help me I don’t know what to do.
Solution: Did you happen to see an error code when this happened? The error code displayed is useful in determining what exactly the problem is. Anyway, let’s do some general troubleshooting steps to resolve this problem. Move to the next step if the issue still occurs.
- Update your phone software
- Start your phone in recovery mode then wipe its cache partition. This deletes the temporary data stored in your device and aside from freeing up internal storage space it also gets rid of corrupt temporary data. Check if you are now able to install the app.
- Clear the cache and data of the Google Play Store
- Clear the cache and data of the Google Play Services
- Try connecting your phone to a different Wi-Fi network when downloading and installing the app.
- Try connecting your phone to your mobile data network when downloading and installing the app.
- Backup your phone data then do a factory reset. Check if you are now able to download and install the app.
Note 4 Can’t Run Apps From Amazon App Store
Problem: Every app downloaded from amazon app store opens and says…internal server error due to low connectivity issues. I have full wifi signal? What? Also, will not play videos on the amazon video. Unknown error. I spent 90 minutes on the phone with amazon “techs” and they are reporting it to the senior tech services. I have cleared caches, rebooted my Note & the wifi…I’m flummoxed.
Solution: The first thing that you should check in cases where you are getting connectivity related issues is the Wi-Fi connection itself. If you have access to another Wi-Fi network then try connecting to it then check if the issue still remains. If you have an active mobile data subscription then try using it as well then check if the issue remains.
Once you have determined that its not the connection that is causing the problem it’s time to check on the phone. Does the issue only occur when you try to run Amazon related apps? If it does then try clearing the cache and data of the affected apps. You should also follow this up by wiping the cache partition of your phone from the recovery mode. This will delete the temporary data in your device which could be causing the problem. Check if the issue still occurs. If it does then uninstall the affected apps. Before downloading a fresh version of the apps make sure your phone is running on the latest software update.
If the problem still persists at this point then I suggest you backup your phone data then do a factory reset.
Note 4 Problem On Pandora Account
Problem: When launching Pandora music app it either shows a message saying there is a problem with the account . I’m using the free version. I already uninstalled it and reinstalled Pandora and still have the same issue. It also takes sometimes multiple times restarting the app because it just doesn’t connect . When it loads it shows a very light blue screen when it’s not going to connect to the internet
Solution: The first thing that you need to do in this case since this concerns a streaming app is to make sure that your phone is connected to a stable Internet source. If you have access to another Wi-Fi network then try connecting to it. You should also check if the issue occurs when your phone is connected to your mobile data subscription.
In case the issue still occurs try creating a new Pandora account and check if the issue gets resolved.
If your phone has a battery saver app installed then try to disable this app first since this could interfere with Pandora.
Some form of corrupt temporary data in your phone can also contribute to this issue. If this is the case I suggest you wipe the cache partition of your device from the recovery mode.
One last troubleshooting step that you should consider is a factory reset. Take note that this deletes your phone data so make sure to create a backup copy before doing this step.
Note 4 Delay In Receiving Facebook Messages
Problem: Hi saw your page and wondered if you have a tip I can use. If I am on my Facebook page on my computer and someone sends me a message I can wait about 10 minutes later and then my phone dings me that I have a message and I look and it is the same one that I received 10 minutes later but it shows my response back to the person too. Any reason why there is such a delay? Thanks
Solution: What you need to check first is if this issue is connection related. Try using a different Wi-Fi network or use your mobile data subscription when connecting to the Internet then check if this issue occurs. If it does then follow the troubleshooting steps listed below. Move to the next step if the issue still occurs.
- Clear the cache and data of the Facebook Messenger app
- Wipe the cache partition of your phone from the recovery mode.
- Uninstall the Facebook Messenger app then download the latest version from the Google Play Store.
Note 4 Not Getting Business News Feeds
Problem: My note 4 crashed & I had to have it replaced. Now my Facebook app won’t let me see news feeds for any business or entertainer. I can see my friends’ news feeds, but the business ones, even those I already follow won’t load. I’ve uninstalled & reinstalled the app. I can access these news feeds through the mobile site, just not in the app. No one else in my household is having this problem, so I don’t think it’s a Facebook issue, I think it’s a setting issue, I just don’t know how to fix it.
Solution: It’s possible that this is an Facebook related issue on the backend side. Try logging out of your account from the Facebook app then log in with a different account. After a few minutes log out of that account then restart your phone. Login to your account then check if the issue still occurs.
Note 4 Keeps Re-Downloading Amazon App
Problem: I downloaded the amazon app, but my phone keeps re-downloading the same app. It usually downloads it twice a day, about an hour apart. It bugs me because it seems to do this when the phone is using Mobile data and not connected to WiFi. This is eating up my small data plan.
Solution: Several other people are also experiencing this same issue where the Amazon app is in constant download state. Try clearing the cache and data of the Amazon app then check if the issue still occurs.
Note 4 Messaging App Stopped Working After Marshmallow Update
Problem: I use the messaging application that came with the phone, when I upgraded to the 6.01 version the emoticons stopped working. When I hit the emoticon button it says that the app stopped working and closes the app.
Solution: Try clearing the cache and data of the messaging app first then check if the issue still occurs. If it does I highly recommend that you do a factory reset. This is usually done whenever issues occur right after a factory reset since it deletes the old software data that could still be present in the device. Take note that you need to backup your phone data before doing the reset.
