A5 Won’t Connect To Wi-Fi

Problem: A5 wont connect to wifi. I have done all the suggestions on your page and it’s still doesn’t work. Been happening for 2 weeks. Wi-Fi connects to other devices in the house.

Solution: Does this issue only occur on a particular Wi-Fi network or on all Wi-Fi networks that you try to connect to? If it occurs on all networks then have you tried the troubleshooting steps listed below?

  • Toggle Airplane Mode
  • Forget the WiFi network from your phone then connect to it again.
  • Try checking if the issue occurs in Safe Mode. If it doesn’t then it could be caused by an app you downloaded. Find out what app this is and uninstall it.
  • Wipe the cache partition of the phone from the recovery mode.
  • Backup your phone data then do a factory reset.

In case the phone is still unable to connect then you will need to have it checked at a service center.

A5 Rear Camera Not Working

Problem: hello, my samsung galaxy a5 rear camera is not working, saying camera failed after I dropped it on the water, I tried all the possible ways even factory resetting but still it didn’t work, can you help me please, thanks.

Solution: If a factory reset does not fix the problem then it’s likely that the rear camera module is faulty possibly due to water damage. You will need to have this checked at a service center.

A5 Wi-Fi Not Working After Getting Wet

Problem: Hello. My Samsung Galaxy A5 2016 was put in the washing machine for about 30 minutes. I have dried the phone and it is working good except for the wifi which I can’t turn on. Some say that the wifi chip may be damaged and there is nothing to be done about it. Could this be a software problem? Can the chip be replaced? Is it expensive as much as buying a new phone?

Solution: The first thing that you need to do in this particular case is to check if the problem is caused by a software glitch. To do this you just have to backup your phone data then do a factory reset. Once the reset is complete check if the Wi-Fi works. If it doesn’t then the Wi-Fi chip of the phone might be faulty already. You can have this checked and replaced ( if necessary) at a service center.

A5 Screen Is Flickering

Problem: Hi I wondering if you can help me my Samsung Galaxy A5 screen is flicking yellow sometimes turns yellow for about 3 seconds then goes back to flickering. I have done a factory reset to my phone that worked for about a week then went back to normal need to resolve this if you can help me please

Solution: You should try starting the phone in Safe Mode then check if the issue occurs in this mode. If it doesn’t then the problem could be caused by an ap you installed. Find out what app this is and uninstall it.

In case the issue still occurs even in Safe Mode then I recommend doing a factory reset again. Make sure to backup your phone data before doing the reset. Once the reset is complete do not install any apps in your phone yet. Try checking first if the issue still occurs. If it does then this is most likely a hardware related problem already possibly caused by a faulty display. If this is the case then you will need to have this checked at a service center.

A5 Shuts Down On Its Own

Problem: Hello I am having issues with my phone. It has been shutting down when it was at about 30% then it would reset randomly.  Then it turned off and came back on but it did a factory reset. All was going good and updating the Apps that are on the phone from the factory. Then the phone shut off showing the Red LED light as if it were charging. I tried to turn on the phone but no such luck. Now when it is plugged in no LED lights to show that it is charging or that it is charged.  I have tried everything that I could think of but I still have the black screen with no sounds or lights..

Solution: The first thing that you should do in this case is to make sure that the battery has sufficient charge. Follow the troubleshooting steps listed below.

  • Clean the charging port of the phone using a can of compressed air. Make sure to remove any dirt or debris stuck in this port.
  • Charge the phone for at least 20 minutes using a wall charger.
  • If the phone does not charge then try doing so with a different charging cord and wall charger. You should also try charging the phone from a computer USB port.
  • Turn on the phone by pressing and holding both power and volume down buttons for at least 10 seconds.

If the above steps fails to fix the problem then this is most likely caused by a hardware component that is failing to work properly. The best thing to do right now is to bring the phone to a service center and have it checked.

A5 Stuck In Boot Logo Not Connected To Charger

Problem: Hello! I am facing a problem with the phone. As soon as I disconnect my phone from charging, it restarts and upon restart it gets stuck on logo  . Even if i try to boot start the phone, it wont work. Only when I connect the phone back with the charger, then it restarts and stays on till it is plugged in with the charger. It again shuts down when I disconnect the charger. Please Help. I have not taken any backup….do guide me on that front too.

Solution: Does your phone have a microSd card installed? If it does then try removing this then check if the issue occurs. If your phone does not have a microSD card or if the issue still occurs even with the card removed then I suggest that you backup your phone data then do a factory reset. If after the reset you still experience the same issue then this is most likely a hardware related problem already possibly caused by a faulty battery. I recommend that you have this checked at a service center.

A5 Has A Dark Screen

Problem: My phone has a dark screen, I had it on charge this afternoon, the phone was working properly then. It had reached 100% and I took the phone off charge, I pressed the power button to shut the screen, I went to look again couple of hours later and that’s when the dark screen I noticed

Solution: Try checking if the issue occurs when the phone is started in Safe Mode. If the issue does not occur then it could be caused by an app you downloaded. Find out what app this is and uninstall it.

In case the issue occurs in Safe Mode then I suggest you backup your phone data then do a factory reset.

If the above steps fails to fix the problem then this is most likely a hardware related problem already possibly caused by a faulty display in which case you will need to bring the phone to a service center and have it checked.
