How to Fix Rocket League Not Launching on PC

Rocket League failing to launch on PC can be caused by corrupted files, driver issues, or conflicting software. These methods will help you get back on the field.

Method 1: Verify Game Files

  1. Open the Epic Games Launcher (or Steam if applicable).
  2. Go to your library and find Rocket League.
  3. Click the three dots and select Verify.
  4. Wait for the verification to complete.
  5. Try launching the game.

Method 2: Update Graphics Drivers

  1. Open Device Manager > Display adapters.
  2. Right-click your GPU and select Update driver.
  3. Or download the latest from NVIDIA or AMD’s website.
  4. Restart your PC and launch Rocket League.

Method 3: Run as Administrator

  1. Navigate to the Rocket League installation folder.
  2. Right-click RocketLeague.exe and select Properties.
  3. Go to Compatibility and check Run this program as an administrator.
  4. Click Apply and try launching from the Epic Games Launcher.
