Cheaters is reality for many of today’s top games so it’s not surprising that Call Of Duty Warzone are not exempted from this trend. If you enjoy COD games and has been playing for a while now, you may now have experienced your game being ruined by hackers. The good thing is, you can report cheaters on Warzone via its in-game reporting system. If you don’t know how to do this, keep reading this guide.

How can you tell if someone is cheating?

Before you report a player or players of cheating, make sure that you check the kill or spectate cam. You don’t want to falsely accuse a pro or someone who is simply too good for you.

A lot of times, cheaters break the game by simply racking up kills, shooting behind a wall, using aimbots.

If you notice that you were killed by a player even if he is behind a wall, or building, that one is using a wall hack.

A cheater also shoots opponents at great distances, even without a scope, and still scores a kill.

If you’re positive that that person is a cheater, you want to report him or her right after a match.

Can you report hackers in Call Of Duty Warzone?

Yes. Reporting cheaters in COD games is possible but it’s not straight forward, thanks to Infinity Ward’s insolence. You’ll need to go in to your game settings and do a few diggings before you’ll see the Report option.

How to report cheaters in Call Of Duty Modern Warfare and Warzone?

Once you’ve positively identified a cheater, there are a number of steps that you need to do.

Reporting cheaters on PC.

If you play on PC, follow these steps:

  1. Go to the game lobby.
  2. On your keyboard, press F1, or you can click the button beneath your rank # and username.
  3. On the following page, go to the Recent Players tab.
  4. Find the name of the cheater, then select Report Player.
  5. Select Cheating option. Other options can be selected as well if they apply.

Reporting cheaters on the PS4 or Xbox One.

If you play on the console, follow these steps:

  1. Go to the game lobby.
  2. On your controller, press the Triangle or Y button.
  3. On the following page, go to the Recent Players tab.
  4. Find the name of the player you want to report, then select Report Player.
  5. Select Cheating option. Other options can be selected as well if they apply.

What happens when you report someone for cheating on Modern Warfare or Warzone?

Reporting cheaters will not immediately ban the players. Instead, there’s a team in Activision that will take a look at all these reports. If these cheaters are caught using your report, they will be banned and you will get an email notification about the ban.

Banned players can no longer play again using their current account.

Compared to other shooters, Call of Duty anti-cheat system is weak and most of the time ineffective in discouraging players who cheat from coming back. Still, we highly recommend that you continue to submit cheating reports game after game, if necessary. The more players are creating these reports, the faster the developer will take action.
