To enjoy playing with friends in multiplayer matches, you need to add them first and once they successfully accept the request, then you can start inviting them to play with you in a game. Here’s how to add friends on COD Mobile:
- Go to the Main menu of the COD Mobile app.
Basically, you just have to open the app and wait until it finishes loading up. - Select the Friends icon found on the top right of the Main menu.
The Friends icon is between the mail and settings icon. - Click the “Add Friends” tab.
It's the last tap to the right. - Enter the username or the user ID of the player you want to add on the search field and tap the Search button next.
Alternatively, you can just select any of the recent players you've played with recently.
- Click on the request button once the profile of the searched player appears on the screen.
If you're the one requesting, then you'll have to wait until the other party accepts, otherwise, you'll be friends immediately and start playing together.

Now that your friends are added on your account, you can already invite them to play with you by following these steps below.
- Select the multiplayer menu.
- Tap the Invite Friends option. All of your online friends should appear on the right side of the screen.
- Select the names of your online friends you want to invite and join a match.
- The friends who accepted the invite will be added to your lobby.
- Select the Start button to start the match.
