OnePlus 7 Pro gets a huge upgrade

OnePlus is now pushing out OxygenOS v9.5.9 to its OnePlus 7 Pro, and it’s a major upgrade. This update is rolling out right now in a staged rollout.

A staged rollout means that not everyone is going to have access to it straight away. Companies usually roll these out to a very small number of users first to make sure the update doesn’t debilitate all OnePlus 7 Pro phones across the board.

That said, most OnePlus 7 Pro users should start getting it soon.

Along with all of the improvements, fixes, and changed that OnePlus has brought to this version of OxygenOS, the June Android security patch is also in tow.

Here’s the full change log:

  • System
    • Improved touch sensitivity for greater performance
    • Smoother Visual effects
    • Optimized haptic feedback for the keyboard
