First solution: Perform the Forced Restart
It is always possible that the problem is with the firmware and most of the time, it’s just a pretty minor issue that can be fixed by this procedure. A forced restart is a simulated battery removal that will refresh your phone’s memory as well as reload all its apps and services including the ones that your phone uses for its wireless connections. Here’s how it’s done:
- Press and hold the Volume Down button and don’t release it yet.
- While holding down the volume button, press and hold the Power key as well.
- Keep both keys held down together for 12 seconds or until the LG logo shows on the screen.
- Your phone will continue to boot until it reaches the lock screen.
Once your phone has finished the reboot, try to see it it still won’t connect to WiFi network because if that’s the case, then move on to the next solution.
Second solution: Power-cycle network devices
