Huawei P40 Pro Revealed to Have a Notch-Less Display and Five Rear Cameras

Although Huawei is still absent from the U.S. markets, the company manages to churn out new flagships in its home region and the regions around it. One of the company’s upcoming phones, the P40 Pro has generated quite a lot of buzz lately, and today we’re learning more about the smartphone.

This new image leak reveals that the phone will pack a five-camera setup on the back, something that’s not entirely surprising for the mobile industry at this point. This consists of a 64MP Sony IMX686 sensor and a 20MP ultrawide sensor accompanied by a 12MP periscope telephoto lens with 10x optical zoom, a macro sensor, and a 3D ToF unit as is the norm with modern-day Android smartphones.

The image reveals that the four cameras will be stacked on top of each other while the periscope sensor is placed next to them. The image also shows the phone in Blue, while Huawei will also likely have other color options for the phone. A separate leak consisting of the front panel of the smartphone suggests that the phone will have a bezel-less display and no visible camera cutout. This either means the phone will have a popup selfie camera or an under display camera sensor. The P40 Pro is pegged to have a display size of 6.5 to 6.7-inches.

We should have more details on the phone as we get closer to the launch. It was previously reported that the P40 and the P40 Pro will debut in March and will have no Google services on board as a consequence of the trade ban.
