Basic Troubleshooting
It is imperative you take time troubleshooting your phone if you encounter problems with it. It’s because not all problems are serious. There are those that can easily be fixed by basic troubleshooting procedures and doing so may save your from a trip to the tech.
When you have a problem with your phone, try to run it in Safe mode first to know if the problem still occurs while the device is in that environment. In safe mode, all third-party elements are temporarily disabled so if the problem doesn’t show up, then it means one or some of the apps you installed is causing the problem.
If the problem, however, started after update, there’s a possibility that some of the system files and caches got corrupted or are already obsolete. So, if the problem still shows up even in safe mode, then you should try wiping the cache partition to delete all system caches. If the problem still persists, you should try doing the master reset to bring the phone back to its factory default settings.
