How To Turn On Data Roaming in Mi Note 10 Lite
If you are travelling abroad and still want to receive your social media messages like WhatsApp, Twitter, IG, and the likes, turn on data roaming in Xiaomi Mi Note 10 Lite. When data roaming is enabled, your phone will acquire signal from other mobile networks to be able to receive or transfer data. You can only use this feature though if the service is being offered by your phone service provider. If so, you will also be charged extra for the data roaming service.
If you are planning to go abroad and use this service, here’s how you enable data roaming on your Mi Note 10 Lite.
How To Turn On Data Roaming in Xiaomi Mi Note 10 Lite
- Tap the Settings icon.
- Select Sim Cards & mobile networks.
- Select Advanced settings.
- Tap Data Roaming.
- Select International roaming and select how you want to use the Data roaming service.
Once the data roaming is activated, you will be able to connect to data services outside your network service provider’s coverage. You can continue using internet-operated apps when roaming. Note as well that this service isn’t for free and roaming charges may apply. So if you are planning to use this service, contact your phone service provider for further information.
If you will experience network problem when using the phone abroad, make sure to set your network to public and disable automatically select network under mobile network option. Afterwards, manually search for and select the network your data roaming should be connected to. You will only be able to connect to a Public network that has a data roaming agreement.
