Access the Apps screen, then open the Facebook app, to get started.
If you haven’t already, login to your Facebook account.
From the main Facebook screen, tap the Menu icon on the upper-right side.
This icon is represented by a three-horizontal line.
Scroll down and tap Settings & Privacy.
A list of settings and privacy options will then be displayed.
Tap Settings to continue.
On the next screen you will see settings for your account, security, privacy and others.
Scroll down to the Privacy section then tap Blocking.
This will pull up another screen where you can add people to your blocked list.
Tap the Add To Blocked List then enter the name or email address of the person that you’d like to block.
After you block a person, you will no longer be able see his/her posts on your timeline. That person will also not be able to add you as his/her friend, tag, invite or start a conversation with you.
To filter apps and websites, go back to <strong>Settings-> Security</strong> menu and then tap Apps and Websites.
On the next screen, you will see options to manage apps and websites that your Facebook account is linked to.
Scroll down to the Preferences section then tap Edit next Apps, Websites and Games.
On the Platform screen, you will see whether or not the setting is turned on. If it’s turned on, tap the Turn Off button to stop interacting with or sharing content from other apps and websites using social plugins including the Share and Like buttons.Games and App notifications can also be barred from popping up when using Facebook. Just go to Preferences then select No under Games and App Notifications.
