Note 8 Screen Flickers Green

Problem: i have a problem with my note 8, which consist in that at the beginning the bottom part of the screen gets super bright and started to flick, now the screen start being all green, what is strange is that you can actually use it but I see nothing, furthermore, when I reset it for a moment all the colors looks normal.

Related Problem: I have a Galaxy Note 8, when I lock my phone, as the screen goes dim, there’s a harsh green flickering over the screen before it goes black. When I go to unlock it, the green flickering starts again and the screen will either be unresponsive, stay black, or with enough patience and a restart I can unlock my phone again. Or I can be on my phone every second of the day which is not good.

Solution: For this particular issue I would suggest that you backup your phone data then do a factory reset. Once the reset is complete try to check if the screen is still green. If it is then this might already be caused by a faulty display assembly. The best thing to do is to bring the phone to a service center and have it repaired.

Note 8 Screen Not Working After Drop

Problem: Hi I have a samsung Note 8 it dropped face down from about 18 inches up. After which it charges, switches on but no display. However if I restart (power and volume down) whilst squeezing the top right hand of the screen it displays the boot up logo and if I keep pressure on it will start up normally with display. However if i let the screen timeout it will no longer display when I press the power button. Is this a problem with the screen connector? I understand it is positioned up in that corner. Any idea what the issue is? Thanks

Solution: It’s very likely that this is caused by a component that got damaged by the drop. Since this is already a hardware related problem then the best thing to do right now is to bring the phone to a service center and have it checked.

Note 8 Email App Is Unresponsive

Problem: Hello. I’m having an issue with my Note 8 . Some emails on the email app (on all my mailboxes) open small and non-responsive so I need to zoom in to see them. If I go back and then click into the email again it opens responsive and zoomed in to the medium font setting I set it at, and then if I do it again it will go back to being non-responsive. It seems very erratic. This is a recent issue

Solution: To fix this problem try clearing the cache and data of the email app from the application manager. Once this is done check if the issue still occurs. If it does then proceed with the troubleshooting steps listed below.

  • Check if the issue occurs when the phone is started in Safe Mode. If it doesn’t then it could be caused by an app you downloaded. Find out what app this is and uninstall it.
  • Try wiping the cache partition of the phone from the recovery mode.
  • Backup your phone data then do a factory reset.

Problem: my phone screen is unresponsive after a tiny drop of water went on it and now the screen doesnt work. iv tried everything even hard reseted the thing and still doesn’t work what can i do please help [not sure but maybe water went through the speaker for the call]

Solution: If you have already performed a factory reset and the problem still occurs then this is most likely caused by a faulty hardware component already. The best thing you can do right now is to bring the phone to a service center and have it checked.
