Galaxy A3 Email Has Stopped Error

Problem: I applied the system update on my samsung A3 last night, and since then, I have not been able to access my email app, which includes all my accounts except this one (gmail).  Since then, I get the popup “email has stopped” and cannot access any of my accounts through the app. I also lost connections between numbers and contacts, so when a call comes in, only the number (and not the contact name) is seen.  I’m sure there are other things which went wrong, but I just can’t access everything since the update, so am not sure what else is off. Any help is much appreciated.

Related Problem: After a recent auto-update done to my Samsung Galaxy A3 phone, my Samsung email app stopped syncing.  It looks like it starts to sync, but then stops without completing. It will only sync if/when I “restart” the phone.  All the settings appear to be set properly. How can I resolve this issue?

Solution: Clearing the cache and data of the email app form the application manager will usually fix the problem. Take note that you will have to setup your email account again after doing this. In case the issue still persists then this could already be caused by old software data that has not been completely removed during the software update process. The best thing to do right now is to backup your phone data then do a factory reset.

Galaxy A3 Unfortunately Amazon Prime Video Has Stopped Working Error

Problem: I purchased amazon prime–I commute a total of 4 hours a day–so I want to watch videos.  It worked for all of an hour and then every time I open the app it says “unfortunately, prime video has stopped” or if I install the app from the google store it gives the prime video has stopped. message.  I’ve wiped cache partition, uninstalled/reinstalled both google and amazon versions of the app–it won’t work…cleared cache on the app force stopped cleared data etc…won’t work…any thoughts?

Solution: To fix this issue you should first make sure that your phone is running on the latest software version. Check on the amount of internal storage space that your phone has as well as sometimes if it is below 1GB then issues like this can occur.

You can try checking if the problem is caused by a software glitch in your phone by backing your phone data then doing a factory reset. Once the reset is complete install the Amazon Prime app again. If the problem still persists then you will need to contact the app developer regarding this issue.

Galaxy A3 Cannot Pause Amazon Prime Video Using Bluetooth

Problem: After installing Android update, I cannot pause the video in Amazon prime video with my Bluetooth headphones, I can adjust the volume using my Bluetooth headphones. Before update was able to do both. Other apps I am able to pause/ play with Bluetooth headphones. I have an A3 phone. I have until paired and unpaired Bluetooth headphones, I have uninstalled prime video and reinstalled it. Those didn’t fix it. Has to be issue with prime video since it works with Netflix and YouTube. Any suggestions?

Solution: Try using the different versions of the app from the Amazon and Google Play Store. If the issue occurs for both versions then you need to contact the app developer regarding this problem so that a fix can be made on the next app update.
