Samsung Galaxy A3 Camera Not Focusing

Problem: Hi I have a Samsung galaxy a3 2016 . Lately it’s been acting terrible , it started first with WhatsApp messenger Viber and snapchat not getting notifications . Now the camera has stopped focusing and all the pictures are blurry I checked a forum and it advised to check if all apps were up to date when I checked I seen all my apps are not automatically updating like I selected before . And when I try to update an app it takes forever … software is up to date … What can I do ?

Solution: The first thing that you will need to do in this case is to make sure that the camera lens is free from any smudges. Wipe the lens with a microfiber cloth making sure that the lens is clear. Once this is done proceed with clearing the cache and data of the camera app from the application manager. Check if the camera will now focus. If the pictures are still blurry then I suggest that you backup your phone data then do a factory reset. Once the reset is complete check if the issue still occurs. If it does then you will need to have this checked at a service center since this could already be caused by a faulty camera module.

Samsung Galaxy A3 Camera Not Working

Problem: Camera won’t work. Cannot use any app that requires the camera. Did all of the troubleshooting, still won’t work. Flashlight doesn’t work either, it says the light is being used by the camera

Solution: The first thing that you will need to do in this case is to clear the cache and data of the camera app from the application manager then check if the camera works. If it doesn’t then try to check if it does in Safe Mode. If the camera works in this mode then you might have installed an app that is causing this problem. Find out what app this is and uninstall it. In case the issue still occurs in Safe Mode then I suggest that you backup your phone data then do a factory reset. If the reset does not fix the problem then you should bring the phone to a service center and have it checked as this is most likely a hardware related problem already.

Samsung Galaxy A3 Photos In microSD Card Cannot Be Accessed

Problem: I bought a microSD card and put in my Samsung Galaxy A3. Then I took almost 2000 photos with the phone and stored the photos directly on the card. I then connected my phone to the PC via USB and in Windows Explorer created different folders on the SD card. I then moved the photos into the appropriate folders by dragging and dropping , but now all these photos are gone. Just disappeared. No message was given that something is wrong or that I can’t do it. The SD is not corrupt, and I tried restarting the phone as well inserting the SD directly into the PC but they’re still gone. Can you please help.

Solution: It appears that something went wrong during the transfer of photos process which resulted in this problem. You can try using a data recovery program such as Recuva to recover the missing files.

Samsung Galaxy A3 Photos Stored In microSD Card Are Distorted

Problem: For a few months now, my older gallery photos taken on my camera have been distorting. Half of the picture turns grey or there are color changes (a fifth of the photo moving becoming uneven and blue colored). These photos were taken on my old phone – a Samsung Galaxy J1 and stored in the same SD card – and the issue has progressed. I tried deleting the photos that were distorted but it didn’t change anything and the issue persisted. These are some of my favorite photos and I don’t want to lose them all. How do I  can I fix this?

Solution: The best thing that you can do right now is to backup these photos either in Google Photos or to your computer. Once this is done try using a different microSD card on the phone then check if the problem still occurs. If it does then you should consider doing a factory reset. Make sure to backup your phone data before doing the reset.
