Solution to the Content Not Supported Error in Android Phone

While downloading files, there are times when you might encounter the Content Not Supported error message in your Android phone. Do not be alarmed when you are seeing this message because it is just a normal thing when the format of the file that you are trying to get is not recognized by your system.

Solution of the Content Not Supported Error Using the Android Phone Configuration

Unfortunately, there is no way to go about this problem in the native settings of your Android phone because it is a software limitation. But with certain apps in the Google Play Store, you will be able to let your phone go about this restriction.

Solving the Content Not Supported Error with an Android Phone App

One of the apps that you can use to be able to download unsupported formats of the Android phone like APK, ZIP, RAR, XLS, MP3, DOC and others is Download All Files. This is easy to use, just select the content that you wish to download, specify the destination folder, save it and then you can open it anytime you wish. Running some files of certain formats will require another app though. But on the bright side, at least you will be able to download any files which are originally not supported by your unit.

Of course, there are other apps that you can use. The reason why I have set Download All Files as an example is because it is one of the heavily downloaded apps out there having 44,300+ downloads so far. Then, most user reviews are positive, so overall, the app garnered an average score of 4.2 out of 5 stars.

Keep in mind though that you cannot download streaming videos with this app like the ones found on YouTube due to Google’s policy.
