How To Send PS4 Friend Request Or Invite NEW in 2025!
One of the most exciting features in any gaming consoles is the ability to add friends or a family member so you can play together online. This comes handy in games that are even better played in multiplayer settings such as the Grand Auto Theft, Fortnite and Call of Duty game series. So if you haven’t tried to send a friend request yet on your new PS4, we suggest you keep on reading to learn the steps.
How to Send Friend Request on PS4
Once the other person receives and accepts the friend request you have sent, you should be able to see what their online activity is. It is easier to send a direct message to those who belong in your Friends list and you can even see what games they are playing on their console.
How to Accept a Friend Request
Alternatively, you can also connect with others on the PS4 by receiving and accepting their friend request or invites instead of you inviting them. All you have to do is to check if your account has already received their sent friend request and simply accept them.
If one of your close friends or a family member have already sent a friend request, all you need to do is accept the request by following these steps:
- Go to the PS4 Home screen.
- Select Friends.
- Select Friend Request.
- Select Accept to add that person to your Friends List.
IMPORTANT: Only add people in to your friend’s list if you know them. If you want to add strangers, make sure that you never give away your account password. Also, be sure to set-up 2-step verification on your PlayStation Network account for added security.
