Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 10.1 Problems, Errors, Fixes and Solutions

Galaxy Tab 2 10.1 Connection Problems

Connection problems are quite common and while they are not the most common problem Tab 2 owners reported, many are still facing these problems every day. Internet connection-related problems can be very simple but they can also be very complicated and may require some extensive troubleshooting to be resolved. Now here are some procedures you can do to try to resolve connection problems in your Galaxy Tab 2 10.1.

  1. Verify where you’re getting your connection from: Is it through a mobile data network or a Wi-Fi?
  2. Before you proceed, try to reboot your device first. This will refresh its memory and if the issue is a simple one, a reboot may take care of it. Otherwise, proceed with the rest of the steps.
  3. If you are using mobile data network, check if your phone receives a signal. If it’s not, try to walk around to see if the area you’re in is covered. Then proceed to checking the settings and APNs. If you don’t know the correct settings and configurations, call your provider.
  4. If you use Wi-Fi to connect to the internet, check if the network still exists. Try to go through your Wi-Fi settings, make your device forget it and let it be detected again. Then try to reconnect if you can.
  5. If you still can’t connect using your tablet, try to use your other devices to connect just to know if you can in your current location. If you can’t, then it’s not with your devices, it’s with the area you’re in. Or, it could be your Wi-Fi network. If this happens, power-cycle your modem and router.
  6. Call your provider to check for outages.
