S8 Stuck In QDLOader Mode
Problem: i have A brand new samsung galaxy s8 (G950W) from canada. I accidentally formatted my device last night. But i forget that this phone is running on my cousin’s google account. I tried to bypass this FRP lock, But after flashing the combination file, it stucks in Qualcomm HS-USB QDLoader 9008 mode. Please sir help me, to solve this problem.
Solution: It appears that the phone software has been corrupted. The best way to fix this problem is to flash the phone with its updated firmware file using Odin. You can download the firmware file from the Sammobile website. Instructions on how to flash your phone are also available in that website.
After flashing the phone the FRP lock might still be active. To bypass this just ask for the Google account details of your cousin and input it on the device.
S8 Slow Wireless Charging Not Working
Problem: My S8 will no longer charge on my charging plates I have 2 different kinds) but it will charge on a regular charging cord. When I put it on the plates they light up and the phone display shows it is charging but even when left for hours the battery percentage will go down.
Solution: Try using a different wall charger on your wireless charging pad. It’s best if you use the original Samsung adaptive fast charging charger. You should also make sure that the wireless charging pad is able to fast charge the phone.
S8 Can’t Add Email VIP
Problem: Hi, Droidguy. My trusty Galaxy S4 died after many years of great service. Replaced it with an s8. The S8 stock email app does not seem to have some of the functionality of the old S4 email app. It appears to limit the number of VIPs (called priority senders in my s4 email app) that I can set up. I click on “Add to VIPs” but nothing happens. It also just does not seem to be as fluid as the s4, but i’m getting used to it. Is there a limit on the number of VIPs that are allowed?
Solution: You should be able to easily add contacts on the VIP list of the email app. Some phone owner however are having issues with the VIP setting of the app. What you will want to do first to fix this problem is to make sure that the phone is running on the latest software version. Once this is done try clearing the cache and data of the email app from the application manager then check if the issue still occurs.
S8 With Cracked Screen Not Turning On
Problem: i bought in april 2017. I dropped it a few weeks ago and the screen cracked and didnt have it replaced or fixed as yet. I put it on charge before going to bed and woke up with the phone not turning on. It had a green light in the top right hand corner and that’s it. I tried the soft reboot and the green light disappeared. I put on charge and i can see its not charging
Solution: The first thing that you will need to do in this case is to make sure that the battery of the phone has sufficient charge. Perform the steps listed below which are recommended to charge the phone for this issue.
- Clean the charging port of the phone using a can of compressed air. Make sure that any dirt or debris stuck in this port is removed.
- Charge the phone for at least 20 minutes using a wall charger.
- In case the phone does not charge then try using a different charging cord and wall charger. You should also try charging the phone from a computer USB port.
- Remove the microSD card of the phone if you have one installed.
- Turn on the phone by pressing and holding both power and volume down buttons for at least 10 seconds.
If the above steps fails to fix the problem then this could already be a hardware related issue in which case you will need to bring the phone to a service center and have it checked.
S8 Bottom Half Of Screen Has Different Color
Problem: I have a Samsung s8 and half the screen is of different shade (bottom half) and I reset my phone and it didn’t work and you please respond back thank you.
Solution: If the issue still persists after you performed a factory reset then this is most likely an issue caused by a faulty display. You need to have this checked at a service center.

Solution: For this particular issue you should first try cleaning the charging port of the phone using a can of compressed air. Make sure to remove any dirt or debris stuck in this port. Next, try using a different charging cord when charging the phone.
In case the issue persists then try the following.

S8 Calls Can’t Be Heard
Problem: Got a new Galaxy S8 for Christmas. Can make and receive calls but I can hear them but they can’t hear me. Have contacted Consumer Cellular three times and they fix it for a few days but it reverts back to the same problem. Very upset with this phone.
Solution: If you have access to a SIM card of another network then try placing this SIM in the phone then check if the issue still occurs. If it doesn’t then it could be an account or network problem in which case you will need to contact your carrier.
In case the issue persists then I recommend that you backup your phone data then do a factory reset. Once the reset is complete check if the issue still occurs. If it does then this might be a hardware issue already in which case you will need to bring the phone to a service center.
