S7 Google Maps Voice Navigation Not Working On Bluetooth

Problem: I have the SG S7 and 2017 Toyota 4Runner. I’m able to connect the Bluetooth and can receive calls and texts via the truck and hear everything, even when connected via the USB port to charge my phone at the same time. When not using the USB port and still connected via Bluetooth, when using any map app, the sound will not come through the truck’s speakers nor the phone, but once I disconnect from the Bluetooth, the sound will then come through the phone, as well if connected via USB. So not real sure why the map app sounds won’t come through the speakers. Settings on my phone have everything being allowed as well. Thinking it could have something to do with the Toyota Entune app. I have the latest updates.

Solution: Several other owners of this device are also having this very same issue wherein voice navigation of the Google Maps app does not work when on Bluetooth. To fix this issue you should go to the Bluetooth settings then tap the gear icon on the Sync setting then uncheck Media audio.

S7 Moisture Detected Error When Using Car Charger

Problem: I read the info about moisture being detected.  I get that too, but ONLY when using the charger in my car, which tends to be cold.  Maybe the temperature plays into what is happening.  Eventually I’ll try another charger in my car…

Solution: If you are getting this error only when charging the phone using your car charger then the problem could be caused by the car charger. It might have some moisture present which is triggering the sensor of the phone. You mentioned that the charger tends to be cold which could be a factor that is causing this problem. To verify if this is the case try charging your phone using a wall charger. If the error message does not occur then the problem is definitely with the car charger.

S7 Stuck In Boot Logo

Problem: When you use Android Data Recovery phone will not boot beyond the second blinking logo. Clearing the cache did not help. Help how do I return a working condition smartphone s7

Solution: If your phone has a microSD card installed then remove it first. Once this is done connect your phone first to its wall charger and let it charge for at least 20 minutes. Make sure that the charging indicator can be seen. Disconnect the phone from the charger then perform a simulated battery pull which is done by pressing and holding both power and volume down buttons for at least 10 seconds. Your phone should restart after this.

In case the issue persists then you will need to start the phone in recovery mode then do a factory reset from here. Take note that the reset will erase your phone data.

If the above steps fails to fix the problem then you will have to bring the phone to a service center and have it checked as this could already be causes by a faulty hardware component.

S7 System Sound Turns Off Randomly After System Update

Problem: My phone did a system update a couple days ago. Since then, my phoned system volume is turning off randomly. I notice the mute symbol I the notification bar and I go into settings and turn it back on, but within the hour it’s muted again. No ringtone, no notifications until I turn it back on. Why is this happening all of a sudden?

Solution: What you should do first in this case is to check if an app you installed is causing the problem. To do this you need to start the phone in Safe Mode. When the phone operates in this mode only the pre-installed apps are allowed to run. If the issue does not occur in this mode then it could be caused by an app you downloaded. Find out what app this is an uninstall it.

In case the issue occurs in Safe Mode then there’s a possibility that this is caused by some software glitch. The best thing to do right now is to backup your phone data then so a factory reset.

S7 Not Completing Boot Cycle

Problem: My samsung galaxy s7 32 GB could not fully finish the boot cycle on a regular boot so I tried putting it into recovery mode to clear the cache but it does not even want to fully boot up now, when I have it plugged into the wall adapter and usb charger it just flashes the text RECOVERY BOOTING. . . . . and will not complete the cycle

Solution: Does your phone have a microSD card installed? If it does then try removing it. Once the phone does not have a microSD card installed try performing  simulated battery pull. This is done by pressing and holding both power and volume down buttons for at least 10 seconds. Your phone should restart after this.

If the issue persists then start your phone in recovery mode then do a factory reset. Take note that the reset will erase your phone data.

If the above steps fails to fix the problem then you will need to bring the phone to a service center and have it checked.

S7 Cannot Login To Google Account

Problem: Phone was reset after google update. Screen was left with “emergency calls only” and when we try to log in with gmail account and password, the screen message shows “unable to connect due to unknown error, please try another account or try again in 24 hours”. We’ve been trying to connect for the last 3 days and the phone kept giving us the same messages. The gmail account is correct when we try to log on to our PC.

Solution: Make sure that the Google account that you are entering is the account that has been used on the phone before doing the reset. In case it is the same account and the error occurs then access the Google account on your computer browser then change the password. Use this new password to login to the phone. You might have to wait for 24 hours before you can use the new password on the phone.

S7 Not Charging Not Turning On

Problem: My phone died and I plugged it in to charge it. When I plug it in, it doesn’t charge it just keeps vibrating every two or three seconds. I checked the power button and it is not stuck and I tried several different chargers that I already know work on other phones. My phone won’t turn on because it is showing I need to plug it in, but when I plug it in, it doesn’t charge.

Solution: The first thing that you will need to do in this particular case is to clean the charging port of your phone using a can of compressed air. Make sure that any dirt or debris stuck in this port is removed. Charge your phone for at least 20 minutes. If the phone does not charge then try using a different charging cord and wall charger. You should also try charging the phone from a computer USB port. Turn on the phone by simultaneously pressing and holding  the power and volume down button for at least 10 seconds.

If the issue persists then you should have this checked at a service center.
