S6 Edge Wi-Fi Not Turning On
Problem: Hi I am having an issue with the Wifi not turning on even after cache wiped, soft reset and full factory reset wifi stuck saying turning on. I have also reset network settings which solved the issue before and this no longer helps. This issue started after a software update but a further update has not solved the issue. I am in Vodafone UK
Solution: You already performed all of the troubleshooting steps that needs to be done to check if the phone software is causing the problem which in this case fails to work. This is most likely caused by a hardware issue already however since you mentioned that this issue started after a software update you should consider flashing your phone first with its updated stock firmware file using Odin. You can get the firmware file of your phone from the Sammobile website where you can also find the instructions on how to flash your phone.
If flashing the phone fails to fix the problem then you need to bring your phone to a service center and have it checked.
S6 Edge Wi-Fi Disconnects And Reconnects Constantly
Problem: Wifi disconnects and reconnects constantly. Smart network switch has been off since I got the phone, wifi on during sleep mode, all other phones and devices have perfect connectivity. Verizon Galaxy s6 edge running Android 6.0.1. please tell me you found a solution to this
Solution: Follow the troubleshooting steps listed below to fix this Wi-Fi issue that you are having.
- Try to check if an app you installed is causing the problem by starting the phone in Safe Mode. When your phone operates in this mode only the pre-installed apps are allowed to run while apps you downloaded are prevented from running. If the problem does not occur in this mode then it is likely caused by an app you downloaded. Find out what app this is and uninstall it.
- Try wiping the cache partition of your phone from the recovery mode.
- Backup your phone data then do a factory reset.
S6 Edge Mobile Data Stopped Working After Software Update
Problem: please can you help me ASAP! my galaxy S6 mobile data stopped working after i upgraded the system ( it pretty much upgraded itself) and i have tried everything in your web page and it doesn’t work . so what should i do? should i contact my network provider???? i need this to contact my family plz
Solution: It’s possible that when the software of your phone got the update the APN settings of the phone got changed. Try to check these settings on your phone and make sure that it matches the settings of your network provider. Make the necessary changes on your phone if needed. If your phone is already using the correct APN settings and the issue still persists then you should consider doing a factory reset. Make sure to backup your phone data before doing the reset.
Once the reset is complete check the APN settings of your phone again then if it is correct try to go online. If the issue still remains then you should contact your network provider regarding this matter as this might already be an account or network related issue.
S6 Edge Phone Can’t Connect To 4G
Problem: Hi, I have Galaxy S6 edge and i have a problem since 5 months. When I put my phone on 4G the network goes offline (internet and calls) but if i put it on 2G everything is fine. I don’t know if this problem came with Android 6.0.1 update or not. Please help me and thank you for this useful website.
Solution: Is this phone previously locked to another network? If you had this phone unlocked and it was previously locked to a CDMA network and you are now using it on a GSM network then it is possible that this issue can occur.
Another factor that can cause this problem is a third party app that you installed in your phone. To check if this is the case just start the phone in Safe Mode. When the phone works in this mode only the pre-installed apps are allowed to run. In case the issue does not occur in this mode then it is most likely caused by a downloaded app. Find out what app this is and uninstall it.
One last troubleshooting step that you should consider is a factory reset. Make sure to backup your phone data before doing the reset.
If the above steps fails to fix the problem then you should bring your phone to a service center and have it checked.

Problem: Hello. I’m sorry, but my knowledge of English language is weak, but I will try to describe my problem and I hope you will help me, because company which sold me this phone just ignore me. Before two weeks I bought Samsung galaxy S6 edge. When I surf in the Net (for example: when I surf in Facebook) a quarter of my phones screen is flashing, but usually when I use my phone everything is okay. It happens when I use internet.
Solution: The first thing that you need to do in this case is to check if the issue occurs when the phone is plugged to its charger. If you don’t experience the problem then this might be caused by a weak battery. Have the battery replaced at a service center.
If the issue still occur even if the phone is connected to its charger then you should perform the troubleshooting steps listed below.
- Check if a third party app you installed is causing the problem by starting the phone in Safe Mode. If the problem does not occur in this mode then it could be caused by an app you installed. Find out what app this is and uninstall it.
- Wipe the cache partition of your phone from the recovery mode.
- Backup your phone data then do a factory reset.
If the above steps fails to fix the problem then this might be a hardware related issue already. I recommend that you have this checked at a service center.
