Instagram is one of the most popular apps today and it’s being updated regularly so that it would run without any problems on all platforms. However, there are times when issues occur either on the server or your phone and that could be the reason why you get the Instagram keeps stopping error every now and then. Now, here’s what you need to do to try and fix this problem…
Restart your phone first
The first thing you should do if reboot your device especially if it’s the first time you encountered the Instagram keeps stopping error. It’s because the error could be just a result of a minor glitch in the firmware or app. More often, a simple reboot will fix issues like this. Or better yet, try to do the forced reboot which is far more effective.
Just press the volume down and power keys at the same time and hold them together for 10 seconds or until the logo shows on the screen. Clear cache and data of Instagram app

Update Instagram app if update is available
Apps that are developed by big companies are being updated regularly to address common issues. An update may have already been rolled out for this application so the next thing you must do is find out if there’s an update available. Here’s how it’s done…
- From the Home screen, tap Play Store.
- Touch the Menu icon on the left side of the search bar (three lines stacked together).
- Tap My apps & games.

- From the Home screen, swipe up on an empty spot to open the Apps tray.
- Tap Settings > Apps.

Perform the master reset

- Turn off the device.
- Press and hold the Volume Up and Power keys.
- When the Galaxy A10 logo shows, release all three keys.
- Your Galaxy A10 will continue to boot up into the Recovery Mode. Once you see a black screen with blue and yellow texts, proceed to the next step.
- Press the Volume down key several times to highlight ‘wipe data / factory reset’.
- Press Power button to select.
- Press the Volume down key until ‘Yes’ is highlighted.
- Press Power button to select and start the master reset.
- When the master reset is complete, ‘Reboot system now’ is highlighted.
- Press the Power key to restart the device.
