How To Host Someone On Twitch

Hosting another Twitch channel is a fantastic way for a popular Twitch streamer to give a lesser-known channel some exposure. Doing this benefits not only the secondary channel, but also the main channel owner since they don’t have to rely on their own content.

There are few ways to host another channel via Twitch. In the chat, you can enter /host in your own channel’s chat and follow it by the target channel’s username. You can change the hosted channel up three times every half-hour and to turn off hosting, you simply have to type /unhost.

Using the mobile app, you can host by clicking on the gear icon for the selected channel and choosing Host from the dropdown menu. Finally, you can auto-host a channel by going into your Twitch channel settings and turning on Auto Host, and then picking the channels you want to host.
