How To Fix The Huawei Mate 20 Lite Won’t Charge Issue
It’s best to make sure that your phone is running on the latest software version before doing any of the recommended troubleshooting steps listed below. Make sure the charger unit is working
The first thing you will need to do is to eliminate the possibility of the charger causing this problem. Your phone charger is made up of two parts and these are the USB charging cord and the adapter. The cord can get damaged easily since it is usually bent and coiled so its best to try using a different charging cord when charging the phone. You should also try using a different adapter to charge your phone in case using a different cord does not work.
Charge from a different power outlet
You might be plugging the charger to a charging port that isn’t working at all. To eliminate this possibility you should try plugging the charger to a different power outlet. Take note that it’s best not to plug the adapter to an extension cord but instead plug it directly to the power outlet if you are experiencing this issue.
Check the phone charging port
The presence of dirt or debris stuck in the phone charging port can prevent your phone from charging. Make sure that the charging port of the phone is free from any debris by blowing air to it. In case the charging port of the phone is wet then you should dry this first by leaving the phone in a cool area for a few hours. The liquid present in the port will evaporate naturally. Check if the problem occurs in Safe Mode

- Once the phone boots up, “Safe mode” should appear on the bottom of the screen
