Taking out the S Pen automatically launches Air Command menu which offers a lot of flexible options that you can customize. If you are the type who wants to write notes once the S Pen is out, you can definitely have that one. Other default options when taking out the S Pen allow you to select the screen, take notes, write on the screen, and so on. If you want to change these default options and want to change them, it’s easy. 

First, you want to customize the shortcuts. Follow these steps:

  1. Tap Settings.
  2. Tap Advanced features.
  3. Tap S Pen.
  4. Tap Shortcuts.

Once you’ve picked the shortcuts you want, you can then change the S Pen’s action when you take it out. Here’s how:

  1. Tap Settings.
  2. Tap Advanced features.
  3. Tap S Pen.
  4. Tap When S Pen is removed.
