How to add a Google account on your Galaxy Note10+
Before you try the steps below, we assume that you already have an active Google account. You must also know the username and password for your account to avoid delays. If you are not sure about your account password, we suggest that set it in order first using another device, or by using your phone browser. Just open a browser and go to your Gmail log in page and try to sign in. If needed, try to reset your password and use the new one when adding your account on your device.
Once everything is in order, do the steps below to add your Google account:
- From a Home screen, swipe up or down from the center of the display to access the apps screen.
- Open Settings app.
- Tap Accounts and backup.
- Tap Accounts.
- Tap Add account.
- Tap Google. If you set up a screen lock option such as PIN, Password, or Pattern, you should enter it here when prompted.
- Enter the Gmail address then tap NEXT.
- Enter the password then tap NEXT.
- To continue, review the Terms of Service and Privacy Policy then tap I AGREE. To review the Terms of Service and Privacy Policy, tap the appropriate link and language then tap Close (at the bottom) when finished.
- If presented, tap the Back up to Google Drive switch to turn on, then tap Accept.
