Reboot phone and your Forerunner 645 Music. When it comes to syncing problems, it’s best that you begin your troubleshooting by refresh the memories of the devices involved. To do so, all you need to do is reboot them. So, restart your phone first and once it becomes active, turn off Forerunner 645 Music and turn it back on. After that, try to see if notifications work fine.

Make sure that your watch is paired with your phone. For the Bluetooth notifications to work, your watch should be the only device that’s connected to your phone. If your phone is paired with other Bluetooth accessories, unpair them and get your watch to work with your smartphone.

Force close Garmin Connect Mobile app and open it again. It’s the best way to refresh the app and all its services. On your smartphone, force close the Garmin Connect app and open it again. Then double check the settings.
