Method 1: Enable Bluetooth permission for iOS devices

A prompt message appears asking if you want to enable Bluetooth permission for the device, select Allow.

- Click Settings from the home screen
- Scroll down and locate Bose connect app, click on it
- Under “Allow Bose connect to access”, Toggle ON Bluetooth option.

Method 2: Restart Bose Connect
Restarting an app varies with the device and its operating system. Follow the steps below on how to close or exit Bose Connect App running according to the device used.
For iOS devices:
- View Active applications. This is done by either double tapping on the Home button or swiping up from the bottom of the screen. This step depends on the iOS device.
- Swipe from left to right to find Bose Connect App running.

For Android devices:
- Go to device settings on Android device
- Click Apps
- Locate and click Bose Connect App from the lists of apps
- Click Force stop, to stop application from running

Method 3: Enable Location Permissions
Make sure that Location Permission for Bose Connect app on your smartphone is enabled. Location Permissions allows you to detect and control Soundlink Revolve Bluetooth Speaker.
For iOS devices:
- Click Settings from the home screen
- Click Privacy
- Click Location Services.
- Locate Bose Connect and check if location permission is enabled.
For Android devices:
- Click Settings from Home screen on Android device
- Scroll down and locate Location tab, click on it
- Click App permissions
- Scroll down to check if Location Permission is already enabled, if not scroll down from the denied section and click Bose Connect
- Tap the option “Allow only while using the app”
- Launch Bose app again and try to connect Bluetooth speaker
Method 4: Clear memory list of Paired Bluetooth devices
Bluetooth devices can remember previously paired devices and will automatically reconnect with them. If one of the previously paired device is in close proximity, there’s a possibility that it will connect with it thereby disconnecting your connection.
To solve this, clear the memory of previously paired devices or pairing list from the Bluetooth settings of the smartphone. This will allow you to create a new memory and will only reconnect to the device that you want it to connect to.
Method 4: Reboot Device
To prevent and correct minor issues that you encounter on your device, it is recommended to reboot it from time to time. Rebooting is pretty simple, you just need to turn off the device and then powering it back again after at least 10 seconds.
After performing this method, try to connect Soundlink Revolve to using the Bose app and check if the problem is fixed.
Method 5: Remove Bose Soundlink Revolve from list
Removing Bose product from the list of previously paired lists of Bluetooth devices allows you to reconnect with the device right from the start.
To do this,
- Go to the settings of your Android or iOS device.
- Click Bluetooth
- Locate Bose product.
- Click on settings, an icon that looks like a gear.
- Choose Unpair, Forget or Delete.
- After Bose product is removed, try to connect to Bose app to Bose product again and check if the issue still occurs.
