How to change background style on widgets and notification screens on Galaxy Watch Active

If you don’t like the default background style on your Galaxy Watch Active, you’ll be pleased to know that you can easily change it. You can change background style on widgets and notifications screen within the device, or by using the Galaxy Wearable app.

Method 1: If you want to change your Galaxy Watch Active background style, follow these steps:

  1. Activate the screen of your Galaxy Watch Active by pressing the Home button.
  2. Tap Settings icon.
  3. Scroll down and find Display.
  4. Select Display and go to Background style.
  5. You should be able to pick a different Background style from a range of options.
  6. Once you’ve selected the style you want, the changes should take effect right away.

Method 2: If you want to change the background style using Galaxy Wearable app:

  1. On your mobile, open the Galaxy Wearable app.
  2. Tap Display.
  3. Tap Background style.
  4. You should be able to pick a different Background style from a range of options.
  5. Once you’ve selected the style you want, the changes should take effect right away.
